With the talk of the Missouri and the hype surrounding it I went back and had a look at some pics I had of it.    I've been on this ship a couple of time and its amazing every time I go on board how big it is.    Certainly a credit to the volunteers that work on it restoring it.

 

I will probably be back on deck for rememberance day this year.

The helm is interesting, worth a careful look. 

Even though it costs a lot of money to museum these ships, I'm glad it happens. Everybody benefits. Once they are gone, they're gone.
