Scenario Coop-Mode (Event Mode,First Impressions)

Scenario mode (NEW!)-> are possibly the event modes that's coming on Halloween and 2017 events (expect christmas ships, like Emdem)

This special coop mode gathers like from BattleStations Pacific (Objectives), they have special prizes to earn and achieve as well everyday once an event has been released!

That means:

1. We will get a possible Historical Event (Ex. Midway, Battle of Solomon Islands, Battle of the Philippine Sea, etc.)

2. Objectives (like the one in BS Pacific)

3.Rewards (they're huge)

I guess we will have an Xmas event soon :child:

nope, this is for users who had their first time in this mode

This was unannounced in 0.5.13 update :look:

Back then, there was an icon that gave us a new Coop Mode right?

Um - Please post either evidence of this in either replay's or screenshots 

 

Why some people do need some source and this was my first impressions and expectaions?

Maybe you guys didn't understand

There's a crate system that was announced and there was a new mode unannounced

I'll be guessing there will be some event ports coming in the future :honoring:

I think you'll find that dmw and tc, are both trying to tell you that what you're saying is unfounded, in the sense that you're saying it "will happen", rather than "it may happen". Yes, what you're saying has a possibility to happen but it's not guaranteed as you're implying.

A. We consider Coop mode more or less as a side activity. However, there's about 30% of players mainly fighting in coop battles. It's a good way to get familiar with the game and since it's so popular, we will develop it further. However, we don't want to rush it, we have several theories on how to improve it we need to test. For now, I can assure you there will be a PvE mode but coop battles aren't the only aspect of the game we're currently working on. We will soon focus on developing PvE mode.

 

So I guess best thing to do is stay tuned! Was it the 'Assault' mode they tested earlier that needed tweaking?That I would gather is the first step WG took to get more features for Co-Op.

Halloween event co-op escort game is not bad.

First game and everyone worked as a team, I was in the battleship and quickly realize that I needed to stay within Transylvania circle to keep it moving. We kept forward of the Transylvania and we avoided the chasing group, victory was ours.


However the next two games were defeats, in game two an idiotic battleship decide to turn around and take on the decoy group, gameover,  game three as the DD, none of the team realize they had to stay inside the circle (real thick heads), so I had to keep circling back to keep Transylvania moving, that was teamwork failure.


Tips:

1 At least one battleship to stay inside Transylvania circle and battleships to be abreast of the Transylvania or slightly ahead of it.

2 Don’t engage the chasing group and  keep forward of the Transylvania

3 Work as a team and cruiser to focus fire targets that battleship are engaging.

4 DDs to smoke the Transylvania (especially in the end game battle) and/or battleships.


All in all good co-op game and a game type that should return as a permanent fixture.

Additional notes from a few runs last night:

 

From the spawn DD's need to peel off hard left and right and avoid Trany's circle - this will avoid triggering the keep the her moving mission until the BB/CA can get there.

 

CA/BB load AP, focus on the Catapults first, then any Zikasas.

 

DD watch for your team mates when dumping torps!  (yeah I know a perennial problem)
