This index is meant to serve as a quick summary of the Premium Warships, both currently and previously available.  This will be faster and easier for me to update when something new comes out than the time it takes to write a longer article.  This guide is not meant to be comprehensive, but to give players a glance over of what each ship entails.

Quick List of Currently Available Ships (last updated November 04th, 2016)

The following is a short list of ships currently available.  It constitutes a repetition of some of the information available below, but visible at a glance.

  • Atago, Atlanta, Aurora, Campbeltown, Ishizuchi, Mikhail Kutuzov, Texas, Tirpitz, Warspite, Murmansk, Blyskawica

As a final disclaimer, please be aware that the views reflected in these summaries are representative of my own play experiences.  Your mileage can and most certainly will vary.

United States

  •   Sims   (Destroyer, Tier 7)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  The fastest and one of the most agile USN Destroyers in the game, with fast-firing, fast-traversing guns and an awful torpedo armament.  Can use Defensive Fire.
Interesting Quirks:  Two options.  Choice between two (awful) torpedo mounts.  May also choose between taking Speed Boost or replacing it with the cruiser consumable, Defensive Fire
Full Reviews:  TBU (To be updated)

  •   Albany   (Cruiser, Tier 2)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.  Last given away as part of the Wargaming anniversary as a Bonus Code from various 3rd Party sources.
Quick Summary:  A short ranged armoured cruiser with excellent agility.
Interesting Quirks:  Her range is painfully (agonizingly) short combined with a low top speed of only 20kts.  That said, her guns are large for her tier at 152mm (6") so she can put out a lot of pain rather quickly against opponents.
    Full Reviews:  None available yet.

    Atlanta   (Cruiser, Tier 7)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Available.  May be purchased through the online store for approximately $39 USD or 9000 Doubloons through the USN Tech Tree.
Quick Summary:  A glass cannon, the Atlanta is primarily an escort vessel with an excellent AAA suite and rapid fire, short ranged destroyer caliber guns that let opponents "taste the rainbow".
Interesting Quirks:  Possesses short ranged, but hard hitting torpedoes.  Her main armament is sixteen 5" guns mounted in eight turrets -- the same guns found on every USN Destroyer from the Nicholas on up.  Capable of putting three salvos into the air before the first shells hit their target, her rate of fire is staggering.  The guns do not hit hard, however, and she has the worst % fire chance of any cruiser.  Some tier 3 Cruisers have more hit points than this fragile vessel.  Since patch 0.5.10, she also has access to the radar consumable.
Full Reviews:  TBU (To be updated)

  •   Flint   (Cruiser, Tier 7)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available  Earned through reaching Rank One in three separate seasons of Ranked Battles.
Quick Summary:  A glass cannon, the Flint is primarily an escort vessel with an excellent AAA suite and rapid fire, short ranged, destroyer caliber guns that let opponents "taste the rainbow".
Interesting Quirks:  Has long ranged, hard hitting torpedoes, twelve 5" USN Destroyer guns mounted in six turrets.  She also has a USN smoke launcher.
    Full Reviews: None available yet.

  •   Indianapolis   (Cruiser, Tier 7)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  A fragile, long ranged heavy cruiser with good bow armour but little elsewhere.
Interesting Quirks:  She's one very few tier 7 cruisers with radar.  In addition, she's very long ranged for a USN Heavy cruiser at 16.9km.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Arkansas Beta   (Battleship, Tier 4)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.  Awarded to Closed Beta testers who had completed a minimum of 49 games before Open Beta.
Quick Summary:  A Wyoming Class Battleship.
Interesting Quirks:  This ship can mount up to 6 upgrades -- something normally reserved for max tier vessels.  She is utterly lacking in any form of anti-aircraft defense.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Texas   (Battleship, Tier 5)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Available through the in game tech tree as of patch 0.5.6.
Quick Summary:  A New York-class Battleship with more AA and less mobility..
Interesting Quirks:  This ship has nightmarish levels of short-ranged AA defense, making it functionally immune to tier 4 & 5 carriers.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Arizona   (Battleship, Tier 6)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  A no-nonsense standard-type Battleship (similar to the Colorado & New Mexico).  Slow, well armoured and tough, with surprisingly accurate guns.
Interesting Quirks:  Her bow and deck armour are both 25mm, meaning she can bounce 356mm (14") AP rounds all day long when facing head on at opponents at medium to short ranges.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •  Saipan   (Carrier, Tier 7)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  A Carrier with a small hangar capacity but odd sized, tier 9 aircraft.
Interesting Quirks:  Two load outs of four squadrons each, 3-0-1 or 2-2-0.  All aircraft are tier 9, but squadron sizes are all odd, with torpedo planes and fighters limited to three aircraft each and the lone dive bomber squadron (which sports 1000lb bombs) comes in at eight aircraft.  Dive bombers are very accurate and do not need to be manually aimed to get the smallest reticule.

Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Gremyashchy   (Destroyer, Tier 5)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  The best single destroyer at tier 5.
Interesting Quirks:  A balanced package of good guns, good torpedoes and amazing speed.  Her guns, though slow turning, have a flat trajectory, making her able to snipe from a distance quite easily.  Her hard hitting torpedoes can fire from outside of surface spotting range unlike other Soviet Destroyers.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •  Leningrad (Destroyer, Tier 7)
Availability on the ASIA Server:  Not Available
Quick Summary:  A very fast gunship with good stealth and a surprisingly good torpedo armament for a Soviet Destroyer.
Interesting Quirks:  Able to fire torpedoes from stealth right out of the box.
    Full Review:
    TBU (To be updated)

  •   Diana   (Cruiser, Tier 2)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  Sister ship to the Aurora, but with only 8-guns.
Interesting Quirks:   Long ranged and with a massive hit point pool.
    Full Reviews: None available yet

  •   Aurora  (Cruiser, Tier 3)
    Availability on ASIA Server:  Available.
Quick Summary:  An armoured cruiser with long(er) ranged guns.
Interesting Quirks:   Comparable to the American St.Louis class, the Aurora's guns have a longer reach at the expense of rate of fire and hitting power with AP.   She is not as fast or well armoured or durable as the St.Louis.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Krasnyi Krym  (Cruiser, Tier 5)
    Availability on ASIA Server:  Available.
Quick Summary:  A further upgrade of the tier 4 Svietlana cruiser, providing more AA power but at the expense of a larger surface detection range.
Interesting Quirks:  Able to use the BFT & AFT Captain Skills to improve her gunnery, giving her a 16.2km range.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Murmansk  (Cruiser, Tier 5)
Availability on ASIA Server: Not Available.
Quick Summary:  A Soviet-modified Omaha Class cruiser.
Interesting Quirks:  Though an Omaha Class Cruiser in almost all respects, she sports a more powerful and longer ranged torpedo armament while also being slightly more agile.  Up until recently, her guns were longer ranged until fixes to the Omaha Class cruiser brought the American cruiser in line with her Lend-Lease sister.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Molotov  (Cruiser, Tier 6)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  A Kirov-class cruiser with tier 9 guns.
Interesting Quirks:  Has the same gun layout as the Kirov but the gun performance of the tier 9 Dmitri Donskoi.  One of the few Soviet cruisers unable to fire from stealth, even with a fully upgraded Captain.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Mikhail Kutuzov  (Cruiser, Tier 8)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Available .
Quick Summary:  A high tier light cruiser with 6" rifles and short-range torpedoes.
Interesting Quirks:  Armed with Soviet high velocity 152mm rifles.  Shell flight time isn't punitive like on the Cleveland, being closer to the Mogami.  Lacks any form of float-plane.  Also has access to Destroyer smoke launchers -- something only shared with one other cruiser, the Iwaki.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Imperator Nikolai I   (Battleship, Tier 4)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  Subtle as a brick, the Imperator Nikolai boasts good frontal armour and great firepower for her tier.  Properly angled, she can take damage and dish it back with equal measure.
Interesting Quirks:  Interesting gun arrangement with twelve 305mm guns in 4 turrets with only one able to fire directly forward but enormous arcs on the other 3.  Lots of armour, including a stretched waterline armoured belt going almost to her prow.  Coupled with strong turret fronts and a 400mm armoured bridge, she can bounce almost anything thrown at her front when angled.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

Germany

  •    Emden   (Cruiser, Tier 2)
Availability on ASIA Server:   Not Available
    Quick Summary:  A Dresden-class cruiser.
Interesting Quirks:  Slightly slower and more easily spotted than her sister ship.  She has two less 105mm guns than the fully upgraded Dresden.
Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •    Prinz Eugen   (Cruiser, Tier 8)
Availability on ASIA Server:   Not Available.
Interesting Quirks:  Two different premium camouflage options.  One provides extra Captain training.  The other provides bonus credit earning.
    Full Reviews:  None available .

  •   König Albert  (Battleship, Tier 3)
Availability on ASIA Server:   Not Available.
    Quick Summary:  A worse-than stock tier 4 Kaiser-class Battleship at tier 3.
Interesting Quirks:  Combines excellent armour with powerful 305mm guns and great secondaries at tier 3.

    Full Reviews: None available.

  •   Scharnhorst   (Battleship, Tier 7)
    Availability on ASIA Server:   Available.
Quick Summary:  A battleship with 283mm guns with a  fast turret rotation and reload.  Armed with torpedoes, a good top speed and good armour but lacking in penetration and accuracy.
Interesting Quirks:  Guns reload in 20s.  She has midships torpedo launchers with great arcs and quick reload time.  Surprisingly decent AA power.

Full Reviews:  TBU (To be updated)

  •   Tirpitz   (Battleship, Tier 8)
    Availability on ASIA Server:   Available.
Quick Summary:  The heavyweight brawling champion of Battleships.
Interesting Quirks:  Under armed at tier 8 with faster-firing 15" guns.  Has midships torpedo launchers with a huge firing arcs.  Very strong secondary armament and rather good durability at the expense of a poor AA complement.

Full Reviews:  TBU (To be updated)

United Kingdom

  •   Campbeltown   (Destroyer, Tier 3)
Availability on ASIA Server: Available .
Quick Summary:  A Town-class Destroyer (USN Wickes-class traded to the Royal Navy) with a 2-gun broadside and 7.5km range torpedoes.
Interesting Quirks:  Though she looks like a clone of the USN Wickes-class, she plays completely differently -- being more akin to the IJN Mutsuki at tier 6 than a US Gunship Destroyer.  Her torpedoes on paper appear to be the best of her tier but they are very slow reloading (over one minute) and her gun armament is pathetic, having the worst DPM of any DD she might meet.

Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Belfast (Cruiser, tier 7)
Availability on the ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  A destroyer-hunting monster with a huge array of consumables and 5 module upgrade options.
Interesting Quirks:  Has access to Smoke, Radar and Hydro all at once.  The 5th module upgrade slot is normally only available at tier 8. Purchasable via Premium Shop on website at the price of USD 35.39 via this link here .
    Full Reviews: None available.

  •   Warspite   (Battleship, Tier 6)
Availability on ASIA Server: Available .
Quick Summary:  A very durable and agile brawling Battleship with agonizingly slow 15" gun turrets and excellent AA armament for it's tier.
Interesting Quirks:  One of five Queen Elizabeth Class Battleships, the Warspite enjoys two unique durability traits.  Her Damage Control Party is on the same cooldown as a cruiser (90s) as opposed to the standard Battleship cooldown of 120s (this reduces to 60s vs 80s with the premium consumable).  Secondly, her Repair Party heals back more than with other Battleships.  If this weren't enough, she has a 550m turning circle -- this is smaller than many Destroyers.  All of this good news comes at the expense of her turrets, which take 72s to rotate 180'.

Japan
Ship List:

  •   Tachibana (Destroyer, Tier 2)
Availability on ASIA Server: Not Available.
    Quick Summary:
A tiny destroyer with the smallest main armament guns in the game.  Has the fastest reloading torpedoes at tier 2, but these are very slow.
Interesting Quirks:   With proper captain skills, she can fire 12 torpedoes per minute (20s reload on her 4 tubes).  Has 76mm guns which fire very quickly as well, but everything about her is very short ranged.

Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Kamikaze, Fujin & Kamikaze R   (Destroyers, Tier 5)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  A Minekaze game play clone with a cool paint job.
Interesting Quirks:   A Kamikaze class destroyer and it's got a cool paint job.

Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Iwaki Alpha   (Cruiser, Tier 4)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.   Was gifted to Alpha Testers and Beta Testers during the Closed Beta weekend.
Quick Summary:  A modified Tenryu class cruiser, up tiered with good guns and some destroyer perks.
Interesting Quirks:   A cruiser with amazing long ranged torpedoes and a destroyer's smoke screen (yes, really!).

    Full Review:  None available yet.
  •   Yubari   (Cruiser, Tier 4)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  A fragile destroyer lead vessel.
Interesting Quirks:  Very hard hitting torpedoes for it's tier, but limited to a tiny firing arc.  Very good anti-aircraft ability for it's tier, but limited in range to self defense only.  Ship has destroyer levels of armour (which is to say, non existent).

Full Reviews: TBU (To be updated)

  •   Atago   (Cruiser, Tier 8)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Available.  May be purchased through the online store for approximately $45 USD or doubloons.
Quick Summary:  Arguably the perfect IJN Heavy Cruiser, balancing artillery with an excellent torpedo armament and speed.
Interesting Quirks:  Unlike other IJN Heavy Cruisers, her torpedo arcs are very forgiving.  She pays for this with a slightly reduced rate of fire on her main guns.  She was recently buffed to gain the Battleship Repair Party cooldown along with a much reduced rudder shift time to increase her agility.

Full Reviews:  TBU (To be updated)

  •   Kitakami    (Cruiser, Tier 8)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.   Was last available during Closed Beta and was gifted to player of the trial Ranked Battle season who reached the first rank.
Quick Summary:  A Kuma class cruiser with more torpedoes than sense.
Interesting Quirks:  In all respects, this is a tier 4 IJN Kuma class cruiser that sacrifices artillery armament to load 5x4 torpedo launchers down each side of her for a total of 40 torpedoes.

    Full Reviews:   None available yet.

  •    Mikasa   (Battleship, Tier 2)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  A tough pre-Dreadnought that has poor guns, poor range and poor top speed but a heavy secondary battery.
    Interesting Quirks:
It's the only tier 2 Battleship in the game.  Her secondaries are arguably more dangerous than her primary weapons.
    Full Reviews: None available.

  •   Ishizuchi   (Battleship, Tier 4)
Availability on ASIA Server: Available.  May be purchased through the online store for approximately $12 USD or doubloons.
Quick Summary:  A soft skinned Battlecruiser with a short-ranged but impressive armament.
Interesting Quirks:  Armed with 10 short ranged, 305mm guns in five turrets.  Has the fastest reload of any tier 4 Battleship at 2.4rpm.  Fast enough to bring her guns into range quickly, she also sports a rather impressive secondary battery.

France

  •  Dunkerque   (Battleships, Tier 6)

Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.

Pan Asia
Ship LIst:

  •   Anshan   (Destroyer, Tier 6)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  A modified Gnevny-class destroyer.  Not at all identical to the Gremyashchy with poorer HE performance, agility and camo ratings.
Interesting Quirks:  A balanced package of good guns, good torpedoes and amazing speed.  Her guns, though slow turning, have a flat trajectory, making her able to snipe from a distance quite easily.  Her torpedoes can fire from outside of surface spotting range.  Anshan earns 100% more free-XP than other ships when using her premium camouflage (!).

    Full Reviews: (To be updated)

  •  Lo Yang (Destroyer, Tier 8)
Availability on ASIA Server:  Not Available.
Quick Summary:  A Benson-class Destroyer with slightly less HP but some fun module & torpedo options.
Interesting Quirks:  She can swap out her Engine Boost consumable for either Defensive Fire (like all high tier USN Destroyers) or Hydroacoustic Search.  She also has two torpedo armaments -- one the equivalent of the stock-Benson torpedoes.  The second is short ranged but very fast with good hitting power.
