Ok, I need some information regarding the duration(not chances) of fires set and how it affects:

  • How long do fires last?(in seconds)
  • Has it got anything to do with HE shell size?
  • Has it got anything to do with the tier of the ship?.
  • Has it got anything to do with the type of ship as target?
  • Has it got anything to do with the section of the ship ignited?

 

  • On what factors do damage per tick depend upon?
  • Percentage?
  • HP?
  • Tier of ship?
  • Type of ship?
  • HE shell size?

 

Any help is appreciated.

For the fire damage its a % of the health per second/tick.

1. 45 seconds base, I think? Honestly can't remember, I always run various reductions

2. No.

4. No.

5. No.

 

Thanks for the inputs. The 0.5.12 now allows me to reconfigure the way I use the modifications and captain's skill, which is why I'm thinking if I can do anything for fires. Also info to above questions will help me improve my play.

Base fire duration is 60 seconds not affected by anything from the shooting ships, but can be reduced up to 35 seconds with various setup on the receiving ship

i believe fire last 60-66 seconds without any reduction.

all fire duration are same in all tier

 

a full fire without duration reduction damage up to 20% of ship Max HP.

all HE/bombs fire deal same amount of % damage.

BoS, DCM1, DCM2, Fire Flag, Fire Prevention, High alert, Premium Damcom, Jack of the trade

then you got less than 40 seconds fire, and 32 (around 50 in battleships) seconds cooldown damcom

 

and yes that's my Plan for my German BB

Does not work well in high tier with high amount of Camper and Runner. Especially, when German BB already famous with great secondaries, Like USN BB Gets avoided by CV

ship can have maximum to 4 stack of fire,

each with individual timer 60 sec without any reduction (it far too long IMO)

each eat up 20% ship HP full duration (4 fire x 20 = 80% of ship HP, you're dead meat)

 

good thing is damage form fire can be 100% recoverable with repair party

bad thing is there no limit in how many fire can be lit up on you.
