Suprisingly, instead of Random Battles, they're doing PvE content now

I'm aware of this:

Do some scenarized mission are scheduled. It could be like this : a group of players gather up against an historical formation of ships that they will have to fight against. Like for exemple fighting against the Yamato and her escort ? Fight against the IJN fleet in Guadalcanal ? etc etc.. Create some PvE missions against another nation to have a “almost-historical”, with a bonus point if the players ships are from the same nation.

We are looking into widely understood PVE content, as there is a certain group of players who prefer to play only cooperatively or even solo against bots, rather than play against other humans. What we’re working on cannot be disclosed at the moment, but we’re really interested to see your feedback once we’re ready to roll these elements out.

Are you planning to make the daily mission more interesting than they are now? They don’t motivate too much the way they are right now

We are planning to add a completely new mechanic to replace daily missions altogether. It will have nothing in common with the current mechanic. The daily missions are not meeting our expectations and we want to try out something new. At the same time simpler to complete regardless of class you enjoy playing, as well as providing way more interesting rewards that you, as players, should be looking forward to.  You may remember the supply boxes we presented during gamescom – that was just a rough draft of the animation, but we plan to include that mechanic in the default daily reward system and we’re putting a lot of work in making it happen this year. The purpose of “daily quests”, so something you can be sure you’ll be able to do whenever you log in, will stay for sure, but the execution will be largely improved both visually and mechanically. We’ll share more details on this in the coming weeks.

Historical battle mode as PvE is a good idea. WoT tried to implement a historical battle mode but it ended in disaster because it's PvP. Historical battles are naturally imbalanced, they simply can't work in PvP.

I'm willing to break my vow of "never gonna play PvE" if this historical battle mode is implemented correctly.

Historical battles.... Seems intresting. Can't wait to reenact the great marianas turkey shoot. Heheheh.

There is one, ShadoPulse, Assault mode, which is a coop, they are implementing it and renaming it

Yeah I know, but it's not historically themed.

I Agree, even those it has the information of enemies on [locations]. Hmmm... perhaps they're making loot drops for PvE and implement new Daily Missions for coop as well

There are no point that says they are going to stop developing Randoms and switch to PvE only.

Either click bait or overreact.

I think they are gonna go for an Armored Warfare kinda stuff. Both PvE and PvP are competitive.

I'm not one to play coop unless required as per missions.

there is not enough salt in coop, as a group of random humanoids herded into a room and instructed to compete against each other for any period of time, for any reward = salt.

What I think the OP is saying is that they are surprised the amount of time, money, development being spent to build co-op mode.

Makes the game less wows, and more single player, off the shelf, buy the entire game for $100, and keep a shiny box in your room for 5 years.

Humanoid vs humanoid is always going to be the ultimate challenge, as humanoids are the most unpredictable of all Earth's creatures.

I would hope they make a PVP historical mode where certain USN ships randomly pieced together in MM take on IJN ships such as a Yamato fleet, also with the ships pieced together.

And if it flops such as WoT historical battles did, (even though for some reason the british tanks were made insanely OP vs the far inferior German ones, therefore no one wanted to play ze Germans), then maybe they need to increase the potential player base by merging SEA and NA server together.

Deathskyz, it's from the EU Questions and Answers forum on the WoWs EU Official Forum page, sad that i don't have the link :nerv_fish:

You can copy paste the information from the link but not the link itself?

At least give your sources, people translated that from the RU Q&A.

Posts by Devs this year ( mainly on the Russian Q and A),have mentioned that 30 - 40 % of players do only or mainly Co-Op,that would probably be why they are looking into it.

From lower down in the same post:

1) When are you going to implement the depot into the game?
We’re working on having it later this year, as it’s an increasing priority to allow players to properly manage their inventory. We want to do it in a way that will be a good user experience and that requires additional work from what we’ve got at hand right now.

I did see something about the depot on NA forum last week.Looks like WG changed their mind about not having one.

Ya,when the T3 or T4 ships in the match have between 0 and 10 AA this works real well!:

And what about the tier III battles where MM places ships will zero AA in the battle with 2 CV of tier IV against them? Placing the same ships into the other team does not solve the situation because the battle result is in fact in hands of CVs only.

As for ships with poor AA, they are also on Tier IV – it is just the thing of the times. Many navies underestimated the need for AA / did not have funds to upgrade and ship construction overall is full of compromises. If you have a ship with poor AA and there are carriers in the game, try to stick to friendly ships with good AA or even ask the carrier for assistance.

I don't need salt to play this game.

I'm one of the 40% who only play co-op as it's as close to single player play as possible.

Not every player is into "humanoid vs humanoid" play.

There is enough challenge in playing PvE mode (Though the bots AI was more challenging during Alpha!)

I'm sure PvE will become more enjoyable to play with new content and the percentage of players will also increase.

Now if WG could just implement PvE to WoT!

They won't add it and it will never be implemented on a Tank Game

Actually, Devs have stated they are working on it.

Won't be implemented for a while though.

Read it on Status Report from Ritagamer.

IIRC, During Gamescom, they did announced that the Daily Missions will be replaced by Loot Boxes, am i right?

It looks like it,this is from that same EU page:
