More Kongo players required

With the current trend of barely 3, 4 and sometimes 5 Kongo's per team each match, I feel that more players need to play this ship in order for WG to buff this obviously under performing ship and therefore provide more juicy targets for my IJN DD's.

So please, I call on all players to embrace this neglected ship because occasionally, but not often, I'm starting to see one BB from other nations which have no place in this game.

Let's have an ARP battle mode, where you can only bring the Kongo sisters to battle. Plasma cannons, Klein fields, homing missiles, corrosive torpedoes, and super graviton cannons, the whole works! The mayhem, the glory, the fun.  :)

Maybe if we didn't embrace the weabooschoolgirlupskirtsemiporn ships we wouldn't have a gazillion kongos floating around.

 

You can thank marketing concept 'promotion' for that. I don't mind, I like wrecking them with my destoryers.

It doesn't help when they add missions where you MUST use a tier 4 or 5 ship, that can do maximum damage...

 

Dare I use my tier 5 IJN superOPskirtsemipornKongo?.

 

(I don't actually own one).

I dont mind the Kongo classes. So many sail in straight lines, hide behind islands stationary. My DDs of every nation have had so much fun torpedoing these players to the depths.

 

If they want to sit at tier 5 and grind away, let them i say, i will burn and flood them! :izmena:

Wow you DD drivers are so proud. You do realize you only get away because of your disappearing mechanic right?  That if you don't have that disappearing mechanic you guys would be toast easily before you can even get near the Kongos? So be happy you have that. Personally, I'd love the game to be rid of that mechanic.

kongou is a fine ship. she's fast to keep up with cruiser and support them with her fire power, she can go in and out of trouble fast. what's underpowered are the brain of other player who sail her. probably players who won them by clearing the mission without actually experiencing playing battleship.

Kongo is fiiine. I have no problems with her apart from the stupid thin armor she has. Even Furutaka-class can citpen her. Still a flexible ship. Far more than New York. Can't say no to that maneuverability

Anyway, to me, Kongo is all that, fast battleship. I absolutely hated this ship mainly because of the crappy guns. New York worked a lot better for me.

Maybe I roflfailed my way outta the New York when grinding the exp but, after rebuying it for a short while ago, I found that I still don like her that much. I still were the main offering for the enemy fleet the second my fleet turned tail and run. At least Kongo can turn tail and run too

I've learned to play the Kongos. I will usually stay at a distance first and try to shoot at battleships from far ranges and cruisers at ranges between 12-18km. Also I always use AP and go for the broadside facing shiops.

Kongo at a distance... hmmmm I doubt you do much damage in game. Cause kongo shells at range... meh nevermind.

nope, i wont be as.confident, but can you come up with another way of balenceing DDs? javing no concealment mechanic means high tier battles will be a slug fest of ships who,snipes from max.range(yamato can have about 40km main battery range iirc), cruisers will get deleted by BBs really badly, DDs will never be able to cap or torp, CV will get sniped by anyone.with range on their guns.

so dont be so salty, about the game mechenics, learn to WASD and travel with teammates to avoid DDs who are hunting BBs(i assume you are a BB player because this seemed like a standard "DD op plz,nerf" post by a BB main)

 

and i wont be as salty, i would learn to git gud at the game and carry on
