AP has the bright metallic flair in it, like the boss type of ammo it is. HE is lame orange, like the ammo is. :D

"Bright Metallic"

so when it fired it's like "something White" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

*cough*

Anyway, real reason is that people were using mods to better differentiate between HE and AP...so WG built it into the game instead.

AP & HE are White & Yellow respectively and both of them came out from the same barrel..

We're still talking about patch 0.5.8 changes right... right?

I wish it can be change. I want green or teal or something that really pops tho. :sceptic:

Historically, Musashi used green dye to identify her own shell while her sister, Yamato, used white

The 5.8 destroy ship ribbon is now a dull red, bring back the blood red ribbon or lease make it optional in settings.

Also the citadel ribbon needs to be brighter than a dull black

I just want... UI markers... For incoming shells.

If planes can have them, why not shells? Even midair triangles with an "X" or "A" will be enough for me to identify as HE and AP, respectively.

Maybe make it so that comes with the incoming fire alert skill. Make it like lock on signal direction warning in BF4 (white curved line) (go watch some BF4 aircraft gameplay and you will see what I mean)

Something like this:

maxresdefault.jpg

The tiny markers over the individual units. Now replace it with shells.

In that game, even the shells have individual markers despite the remarkable amount of units.

That will be what a CV sees if they choose to.

Ships will see markers on the sky.

Isn't the default response when seeing a BB to sharply angle your ship?

The only time I'd broadside is when I'm shooting cruisers as a BB.

The only thing I wish WoWs have. I also hate that you cant change the reticle colours. :sceptic:

not true you can change reticle in the game settings but this is only scoped

^ edit : more like different types of reticles but some have color marked and clear numbers

or the other way is mods.....

how have you been ? been a while since i talk 2 u :)

I know that, but I want total control of the UI. :hmm: Oh well.

I'm fine, some says I have been a sealclubber and statspadder since I failed the TB audition.
