Battleship shields - secondaries

Hi,

 

With 5.7 coming out, new mods will be implemented including one which gives secondaries and auxiliaries 100% more HP. My question is, does a fully destroyed module (destroyed secondary or AA gun) still provide protection to the ship?

 

Lately I've notice doing 0 damage to BBs constantly despite hitting 10 Zao shells. I want to know if equipping this mod will make the Effective HP of BBs to be increased or not (If 200% secondaries provide the same protection as 0% or destroyed secondaries).

 

Any links to evidence would also be very helpful. Thanks!

nope. just like destroyed Main battery, destroyed AA and secondary don't shoot anymore.

 

2. super structure and some parts of ship has damage saturation. if certain parts of the ship has saturated its HP, no matter what you throw at it, even a torpedo wont deal any damage. e.g bow or stern. (there are times when a dd wont even die even if you hit her with two torpedo) if that happens, just find other areas that are not saturated mostly the least charred part of the ship.
