Issue: game suddenly stop

Ship: Any

Map: Any map while playing in battle. And also can happen in map loading screen.

Occurrences: Randomly

Tested: Must force close the game and get back to the game, but it does randomly re-occur again.

Severity: High impact, game error.

Details:  It randomly happen while playing in battle(sometime crash at map loading screen). It so much annoying me so much and make me die in battle after I'm get back to the game as fast as I can to resume the battle(and I see my ship sinking after I get back) I'm about to stop playing the game for a while till this fixed.

I hope this will be fixed soon, I also encounter the same :|

even on small maps like Islands and Strait it still happening. Recently I played and then crashed and it's like the third time on today. Before that the game works just fine.

the game is too much for your computer to handle :v?

 

Tell that to my PC, 8GB DDR3 1866MHz and AMD A10-5800K.

After 0.5.4 update, that's the time crashes hit WOWS

It crashed very often! My other Direct X games never had this kinds of issue.

I have similar problem. I searched Google and found that many people have the same issue. It means it is not our problem. It is related to the software coding. In specific, it is related to the new update not compatible with the latest version of Direct X. 

 

I solved this issue by reinstalling the game, when it asks the option to Install Direct X, check the box even it said you have installed Direct X. It will reinstall the Direct X along with the game. 

 

I have played 8 consecutive games without any problem now. However, I am not sure if it will cause other problems with other games after installed their Direct X version. So, try with your own risk!

you are running out of memory (looks like the PC is under the minimum specs).

 

All you can do are:

a.  Upgrade memory/PC (best option in the long term)

b.  shut down everything else to free up memory - no browsers, no bookface, no birdnoise (twitter), no skype etc
