Citadels can be overpenned for 10% of your shell's damage...

Citadel overpen being the same as a normal overpen might explain the reason why my guns have been racist.

 

I cannot for the life of my BB/CA play ever citadel a "supposedly thinly armored" VMF cruiser and every hit just results in 1/10 of the max AP damage.

(I can cit other ships just fine but never a Russian Cruiser)

Aye.

 

A shot to the engine room is still critical damage to the engine- Even if it overpenetrates, it's still a giant hole through important machinery.

Well, if it is a War Thunder game, yes, it should be one hit kill or immoblising your ship 

But this is a WG game

Not quite sure what will be WG's logic regarding that overpen citadel hit. My wild guess will be when AP caliber too large or too fast or maybe armor too thin?
