What do you guys think?

I'm running the 12km ones but they don't seem to have a very noticeable success rate over the stock 10km ones...

I got last stand, and am planning on torpedo expertise since i dont really need to use my smoke often.

I would get EM if it is a Lv18 captain.

TAE is not worth 2 points imo, its like 7 or 8 seconds difference. You rarely encouter a situation where you have to fire immediately after reload.

increase from old 15 points with useless CE... spotted = High chance to dead (Hp nearly useless)

 

EM save me many times by fend off Benson or Shima, even kill them sometime.

when I play fubuki. I try not to get myself into a gun fight. (her gun was good, yes, but compere to fellow tier 8 DD like benson.... I rather not mass with them.)

so tier 4 skill for me is.... 'manual AA'

 

with +100% efficiency AA I might be able to ward off aircraft that stick over my head.

 

I'll just wait and see more about torpedoes accelerator how much useful it is, so I skip it for now. if it really that good, I might just reset my skill tree again. =w=

call me nuts but I get BFT and EM for the last 3 points, but I just realized how screwed I am after I calculated TAE, I should have gotten Last Stand instead

67kt torps are preforming much better then i ever hoped, since i usually drop my torps from 7-6km range, this dosnt really effect my game play, and with the "last stand" and "SE" perk, i cant get away pretty easy even if im spotted (unless a usn DD decides to run after me and use it's 127s to blow my arse off)

Glad to see this patch has opened up a variety of playstyles without compromising a significant amount of effectiveness of the ships.

I picked fubuki because she's in between the minekaze and the kagero/shima, with massively different playstyles depending on the equipment, torpedo option and captain perks. Hope you guys find the poll results interesting, feel free to vote/change if you discover a more efficient/different playstyle. Good luck all!

I'm actually considering an experiment with my Hatsuharu, taking on Torpedo Acceleration for the additional 5 knots, sacrificing 2km range off her 10km torpedoes. Play style will be akin to that of the Minekaze albeit the Hatsuharu's speed is lower and surface detection range is 0.5km more. Has anyone tried this?

Unless u have CE you're going to be permaspotted by mutsukis.

Here is the detection chart, with ce+camo u barely get a .2km window before a low level mutsuki spots you.

You get a nice 3km window to stealth torp though, it is quite risky

Here is the detection chart, with ce+camo u barely get a .2km window before a low level mutsuki spots you.

You get a nice 3km window to stealth torp though, it is quite risky

something wrong with that chart.

 

my fubuki right now even without CE have detection range at 6.1 km.

I bet that chat did not include conceal upgrade module .
