Limit of playing field and aircraft

Hi not sure if this has been looked at .\

When a ship reaches the limit of the playing field (the whitish line) it just stops and must turn back to continue moving correctly.

 

However this does not apply to aircraft: they can fly past the limit of the playing field, turn around and torpedo the living daylights out of a ship stuck on the white line!!!!


 

The same should apply to aircraft otherwise its an unfair advantage.

Hi Recruit & welcome to the game. As you are new, my usual sarcasm on this topic need not apply. :trollface:

 

Stalling at the line is a solution to a MASSIVE game problem that went all the way back to pre-release. Players used to be able to "surf" the boundary line AND it was nigh impossible to tell which way they were going and at what speed.

 

Solution to the aircraft problem is simple, do not get stuck on the blue line. :child:

This "blue line" dead horse has been beaten so much it's just a mere puddle now.  :ohmy:

UMMM, he is saying that aircraft have an unfair advantage now, as they can fly out side of the map and on the other side of the white line. Which means they can sorta hide as they are not in the field of battle but outside of the map.

yes one of the fixes WG tried to do was to allow aircraft to fly outside of the map and bomb or torpedo ships that use to surf the blue line, before the new fix that is being used now.

back in the day, where you can't move your aircraft outside the blue line, Carrier player find it difficult to Aim the Wall-hugging ship since you can't  place your mark (torpedo trail and bomber), forcing the attack aircraft to attack from only one side which is very disadvantageous and non senses

and it is not unfair if we can attack blue liner as the same as attacking the one in the middle of the map
