Why there are DDs that shoot like a Cruiser.?

the problem here is if they shoot like a cruiser.! their bullet came from nowhere..and its very hard to fire back at them because they are too small..:D  and can burn your ship in just a couple of minutes.. and i think this is OP DDs.. they suppose to lunch Torpedoes not keep shooting from 12km away.. that's not fun.. shooting a DD at 10km is difficult if your BB have a very bad dispersion how much more at 12km.? and before u can aim your guns at them they are GONE. .!!! :izmena:

Totally agree with you

I totally agree with you, it's happened to me on a number of occasions and like you have found it very frustrating to one hit them with my BB New York or get out of their range. It's been the Anshan manly for me and worse when you get two of them sharing smoke screens. As for help well hands are full zig zagging rain of shells....sometimes you will get a cruiser come help you. But it's going to happen when you give players off the street an op DD for $25 i bought one LOL.

Again... Another "DD too OP! Nerf please!". This time it is different, tho.

 

Last time it was "Torps too OP Nerf please!" this time is "Guns too OP Nerf please!", so what you guys want us to use then ? Ramming ? :D:D:D

I think those gun based DDs are pretty much working as intended. They risk themselves every time they open fire and get spotted. So if they were easy to hit who would still play them? And besides... you try playing torp boat with 4 to 6 km torps.

Ok here the list that WG have to adjust in order to make DDs not OP :D:D:D

- 15km concealment

- No smokescreen 

- Sims Torpedoes on every DDs with 5000 avg. damage

- 4km Torps range with 10 mins reload time 

- Guns that did 0 damage against capital ships with 0.01% fire chance

- Slow as 20 knot 

- Turn like Tashkent 

 

Anythings else ? :hiding:

Wonder if there will be "DDs HP are too high can't kill it!!" next time :hiding:

 

We might as well use a rowing boat powered by drunken Russian sailors using AK47s. 

 

It too small peoples will complain about cant hitting it and get Shipjacked by Russian sailors :D:D:D

Nah 7.62x39 is so so, 5.54x39 from AK74 is the Best !!! :D:D:D

Back on topic: Russian/Soviet DDs had their HE nerfed recently so OP would've hated them even more before. :D

It was of a DD torping and not firing. :D

 

This is somewhat relevant I guess, knowing your enemy is key to defeating them hehe.

Back on topic: Russian/Soviet DDs had their HE nerfed recently so OP would've hated them even more before. :D

 

atm i did't feel that much in team of guns nerf, yea alpha damage is lower but the fire chance feel like it remain the same even they nerfed it :D:D:D
