The enemy ship was not headed in the direction of the torpedoes, in fact it was headed the other way. The only vessel that could possibly be hit was mine. The AI vessels with torpedo capability need a default of "no launch" if there is a 25% risk or more of hitting a friendly. It's strange that the very problem human players are warned on, the firing of torpedoes when friendlies are in between is not built into the AI. I was certain it was a new player and was surprised to see the colon in front of the name. Think about it! Its a great game. Cheers. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

AI are not taking into consideration the position of friendly ships when dropping torpedoes so there's a risk of teamkilling. Hopefully this will be fixed in the near future.
