Are there any minor nations that would be present in the full game version of World of Warships?

What do you mean by "minor nations"?

Nations younger than 18, who require a parent/guardian.

But seriously, I believe they mean Australia, New Zealand and Commonwealth countries that aren't necessarily the U.K.

I don't know much about naval history, but Finland, Denmark?

Plausible, if the developers take time into preparing a fleshed out tech tree for them.

I'm assuming that if there were to be ships from other countries, they would put it in a separate tree collectively similar to that of the proposed WoT "EU Tree."

But don't get your hopes up for now; the developers will be focusing on the major bits first

There will be enough work for major trees but as these fill up I'm sure ships for smaller nations will come up eventually.

True we can see but the first prems are normally set as crew trainers so should be same nation first up but your idea should happen later.

commonwealth navies 1939-1945

Royal Australian Navy - six cruisers, five destroyers and two sloops;

Royal Canadian Navy - six destroyers;

Royal Indian Navy - six escort and patrol vessels;

Royal New Zealand Navy, until October 1941 the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy - two cruisers and two sloops.

i would say they will get done at a later date or they will be included with the royal navy.i also think they would of had the older ships of the royal navy and i think that afew were in alantic and mediterrain sea,you know fighting for king and country.

Given that a lot of Commonwealth navy vessels were British classes of ships, I don't think there would be much point in having the RAN or RCN as separate nations. They would fit better as premium ships if anything.

If you look at WoT as an example, the core game started with only Russia, Germany and US and over time were added other major tank using countries - French, British, Chinese and Japanese (not necessarily in that order).  Chinese came in early with a single tank as a premium.

Given this, the need for a full Tier 1 to Tier 10 line in at least one class, the work needed for each model involved, etc, I would say as others have here that minor nations might only be included as premiums if a) they had something really interesting that was unique, or b) there was a significant user group who might buy one, or even c) there was a significant event that the premium could be tied to, like, I don't know, a movie, say.

You need to redo your research, Australia had a lot more ships than that, abet mostly Corvette Class ships.  But you also need to go back to WW1 as the tech tree goes back that far for existing ships and that gives most of these so called smaller nations a much larger list to choose from.

I think that considering Australia operated more warships in WW2 than the Russians it would be an injustice not to give the RAN it's own Tech tree or at least a combined Commonwealth/Allied tech tree.

The Russian WoWS Tech tree, like the Russian WoT tech tree will be full of concept ships that never made it off the back of a beer coaster.  After all they never had much of a navy after the japs destroyed it in 1905.  And some of the ships they did have were designed and built in other countries.

The Italians come to mind initially for me. This is what Wikipedia has as their line-up at the start of WWII.

For instance, the Second Battle of Sirte was a major action.

Frankly if the Soviets are included as a launch nation then considering the Italians and the French as minor nations seems out of place.

The British, French, Italian, and German navies are the next ones to be up. A small possibility for the Dutch and Nordic Navies

actually it's the Russians, British and German lines up next.

Other countries have not been confirmed yet

well there should be these navies that might pop out:

United States Navy - default

Imperial Japanese Navy - default (some say it needs more rework. I thought WG Japan is already archive raiding?)

Red Navy/Soviet Navy - the next thing to pop out. iirc RUdevs are raiding St. Petersburg's archives and Moscow Archives for moar blueprints

Royal Navy - after the Soviets, this will pop out most likely.

Kaiserliche Marine/Kriegsmarine - its gonna be fun seeing Bismarck, Scharnhorst, Gneisau and Pringles- I mean Prinz Eugen on the water.

Netherlands Royal Navy - speaking of which, did the Dutch ever build bottlesheeps? afaik they had nice fast ships that packed reasonable guns although y did they have trouble running to the Dutch East Indies?

Marine Nationale - Alsace bottlesheep plox

Royal Australian Navy - did the RAN have gritty ships? and why do I get this feeling the RAN will be assimilated to the RN much to the displeasure(?) of the Aussies and with the Royal New Zealand Navy to follow suit?

Regia Marina - gib Littorio class plis

Re the Soviets, as silly as it it is its a sortaRussian game so they are in.

Launching without the single most powerful navy for the first half of the tech trees is just stupid but again see #1

The Germans have to be in because everyone either wants to captain the Bismark or sink it. This means that the French and Italians are in too eventually since they had stronger fleets than the Germans.

I don't think many Australians, Kiwis or Canadians will be expecting standalone lines. Just as long as we get a few premiums and/or ship naming options we'll be good.

As for the Dutch I don't see how they can fill a line, cruisers would be the best bet but they would probably top out at t5/6. Many of their in service designs were obsolescent very early in their careers if not when commissioned..

Anyhoo, hands up all those waiting for the carrier version of the IL-2.

NZ is noted for Achilles, which was one of the ships that took on the Graf Spee and Leander, which fought the Komit in the South Pacific and depth charged a Japanese sub. I am not aware of any NZ ships from WW1 unfortunately. These ships could at some point be premium only vessels for ANZAC Day, which would be great. Or even Waitangi Day.
