Shouldn't one of these, if not both be negative percentages

 

while it maybe only be a text issue can some DEV check that the upgrade coding also has the correct negative sign in front of one or both

 

otherwise there is nothing to recommend the upgrade and is waste of resources to mount

No, that is what it is supposed to do. Faster reload, slower traverse. There is another modification that gives you slower reload, faster traverse.

It's a poorly worded description (a WG trait, lol), and Haku is of course correct has proven the point by getting it backwards, lol. (the edit was due to kingarthas pointing it out below, not me being a smartarse to Haku).

 

+10% to loading time means you take LONGER to load. It would have made more sense to say "-9.1% Rate of Fire" as that would have made it clear what you were losing.

 

+15% to main battery traverse speed means the main battery traverses more quickly i.e. you turn the guns more quickly.

 

You're trading the ability to train your guns more quickly for a reduced rate of fire. I don't know how many people use these, or on what (maybe Warspite?).

 

It would be an improvement if they colour coded them as they have done elsewhere in the port with modules.

 

At least they've made the data in the port dynamic, something WoT was terrible at for years (did you know the stats they showed in WoT for years assumed a 100% crew with BiA, vents and a premium consumable, in other words a 121% crew effectiveness? LOL).

actually its the other way around faster traverse and slower reload.

Quite right. I described it correctly and failed to note Haku got it backwards. Which illustrates how badly worded it is, lol.

This has been reported since beta (even Alpha). Has LONG been suggested to use Red to denote decrease in performance and green to denote increase in performance (much like when you upgrade guns/hulls), but nope still no change.... lol.

its all about priorities. they might do that in future but they have yet to deal with a lot of more important issues such as balancing and introducing new tech trees.
