Now in most games, low tier CV's (Tier 4 or 5) I can forgive if they don't move from their starting point as enemy ships swarm them.

At tier 8 to 10 though if you don't move and the enemy at 20+ kms find you, you tend to die quickly.

Three games tonight at those tiers, friendly CV's haven't moved and died early, giving the enemy team air superiority.

Are they just really that stupid or that lucky to get those tiers in the first place?

Try to tell them to move with the team. In real life, they are escorted by other warships.

or may be you can go and escort the cv(s).

Well greifer... I have to agree with you on this. As a CV player, your survivability increases as you move around. It increases exponentially when you move with the fleet. They really have absolute faith in their stealth and the lack of alertness by the enemy CV player

Hey, CV!

Yes?

Can you help spot the DDs?

Okay!

"Sends planes to the BB on the other side of the map"

"Flank dies because can't see anything"

"Finally sends planes in just because"

Funny thing is multiple people asked them to move. Only one answered and moved way too late.

Escorting a cv is an option but it limits the team. If you have a bb/ca's sitting as a guard the rest of the team can die quickly.

If i played with the awareness of not moving id die in every other ship. I might just black list in future that are highly incompetent at those tiers.

Yup, most of them do whatever they like.

They're also not shy about blaming everyone ELSE if they die, despite the fact they can scout/attack anywhere on the map more immediately than anyone else.

Assuming they talk to you at all, which ~95% of the server generally doesn't.

But also, if you do see a CV sitting somewhere (behind an island etc) and there is no one near to him (10 km or so) go and back him up. chances are the CV is on a bombing mission or some other priority engagement that is taking up more of their concentration than it should, and they are not looking at the mini map.

by the time they spot the fact no one bothered to keep an eye on them to provide DD protection and get moving, it`s usually too late and a DD pops up to ruin the day.

granted it is a bummer for all, but a CV is only a CV if he is looked after. map awareness is EVERY ONES responsibility :honoring:

I've been following the team ever since I started CV-ing with the Houshou, simply because it shortens the travel time between my aircraft and myself.
