A quick suggestion - when the "Detected" message comes up for the first time in a match, I think it would be great if my ship could sound the appropriate historical alarm/klaxon/siren and the announcement "Battle Stations".

I decided to start modding the login screen for WoWS today, but then realized (once browsing the various threads), that since the 5.2.1 update there has been a sound/music re-work, hence disabling sounds (Apart from the initial 'dwong' sound of the loading in) in the login screen. I still went ahead with the mod and, like many people have said, the video shows but without the audio. My question is, is there any way around this? Is it possible to add a line of code into the sound banks that will connect the .usm file with the universal slider of, lets say, the music tab? Does WG allow these modifications? Or is there a less-tinkerish way around the problem?

I love this game so much, everything tries to be realistic in game. Therefore I think why do we put some realistic WWII military music in the game. In the past I played NavyField, its BGM is so attractive !!! Why!? They are military music !!! In comparison WoWs now lack good BGMs. Imagine you are listening a morale-promoting music to charge a destroyer to enemy battleship. This would be so great !

Hi All, Having the same issue as some people elsewhere in the world and it appears to have been continued from Closed beta. When firing guns, or coming under fire, the audio starts to tear. I am running an Asus Laptop with AMD FX-7600P 3.6GHz with onboard Radeon R7 Graphics, 8GB DDR3 RAM, Radeon R5 2GB Graphics, Windows 8 64bit, 1TB HDD, AMD HD audio + Realtek HD audio. And YES my drivers are updated. Running the latest patch of WoWS. Low graphics settings (1080p), Low sound quality. Sound recording attached, audio profile shows not overdubbing. Cheers, elind21

Is there any modding team, community or individual try making any kind of sound/voice MOD? Or having information about WoWS sound package file structure? Me and my modding team is now making custom Korean voice pack with woman voice. By the help of Wwise and couple of scripts, I've successfully extracted those voice ogg files of WoWS from the original res/audio file, but don't know how to repack it to *.bnk file. You know, WoWS have whole different type of sound package file unlike the WoT or WoWP's fsb/feb file, so there are no information on google about WoWS' bnk packaging method. Could I get some packaging solution with them through Wwise, or just an editing tool which can edit bnk files? Duplicate. Thread locked. ~amade
