    Division Finder: Frustrating

With the ‘Terror of the Deep’ as the current op, I felt like finding a division to do Sunray for easy 80 secondary hits. So I type “LFG Sunray, easy or hard” into the “looking to join a division” tab. Pretty easy to understand, I thought. Not long after I get invited to a division, my Magnu-S ready... for a Narai op.... uh what? The already assembled players disbanded quickly, one ever they realised that the creator was just inviting people at random. One even called him out on it just before he left. This was exactly the same experience I had had a few weeks earlier when I was looking for a T5 plus op (that one week they didn’t make the mission from T3) Does anyone else have this issue? Do people not read? Or do they roll the die on the off chance that the player won’t care, or won’t notice until the op is started? I know this is not as big an issue for people with big active clans and lots of friend, but I can be an issue for us solo players. I don’t really know if there is a solution to this problem, you can’t force people to read or understand. I can’t see how to make any changes to the finder which would not be essentially making all ops available all the time, similar to World of Warcraft’s dungeon finder. Oh well, rant over, back to TotD for stars and co-op for secondary hits.
  2. the damn invisibility of the enemy ships, is so goddamn ridiculous, when there is NO SMOKE, & they are in range, & had other ships within my range, so the enemy ships should've been spotted........ get this... they are VISIBLE BEHIND mountains, but invisible OUT IN THE OPEN????? even after they fire, THEY ARE STILL INVISIBLE !! I know, you'll say... pics please, or our team mate wasn't close enough to spot, or there wasn't line of sight, or i must be mistaken, bla bla bla etc etc etc..... & even my div mates saw it, but still I have to say it, because other maps, most of the ships are not almost permanently invisible during the whole match, except in this map !!!! /fuming Ordrazz
  3. 27 games in my brand new République today, 10 wins and 17 loses. I can't help noticing that when our team doesn't have a division, the enemy team usually have a fairly competitive one; when our team has a stupid division, the enemy has a fishing div; when our team has a fairly competitive division, the enemy gets two fishing divs. Guess I need some rest…

    An Argument for CV Removal

Edit 3/16/18: If you are seeing this thread, this was posted a long time ago. I've updated my carrier experience in the most recent reply here. Ha, clickbaity title. Sort of. It's come to my attention through a recent thread that opinions on certain aspects of carriers are... conflicting. So I'm going to give my two cents- MY OPINIONS- in a dedicated rant thread with reasoning about why carriers are the most horrible thing that has ever happened to this game. You have been warned, feel free to attack me. First of all, I'm going to clear up the misconceptions people might have about me. First of all, I'm not having problems fighting carriers. I sometimes wipe their squads with DFAA, sometimes they kill me... that's not the real issue. Second of all, I don't hate many people who play carriers at all. I in fact highly respect good carrier players and keep many of the ones I've met on my ingame contact list, including ones that mowed down my team... because let's be honest, carriers are not easy to play and expert micromanagement is an admirable skill. It is due to my active interaction with these players that I can lay down my points, despite not being one who would be considered a "carrier player." OPEN RANT- A BACKSTORY ON WHY I HATE CARRIERS WITH A PASSION. A while ago I posted a thread detailing the... nasty experiences I had suffered under carriers during the marathon for the Gangut battleship. The grand total games I played with CVs in the matchmaking was 65 during the last portion of October 2017. In these 65 games, 3 times I had a carrier sail into the enemy team, and I saw 24 allied carriers sniped by the enemy. A further 8 were AFK, or actually didn't do anything (see- sub 200 base exp) and often, the enemy CV dominated. I kept count on the WoWs Reddit Discord because it was just too horrible to be true. Any user who happens to be there may feel inclined to confirm my progress keeping. For a while, I thought I could let the matter slide and that my stroke of bad CV luck would come to an end. I left it in my resolutions for 2018 to not rant about carriers. One party wasn't happy about this... and it was the carriers themselves. The New Year event has hit, and complaints about "events bringing out bad or tryhard players" go flying. And so it begins. Here are two photographs from the last 2 days alone. \ The first photo shows... a Taiho. I can throw an incredibly long and vulgar insult about the level of intelligence this player is exhibiting, but the moderators would not like that. The second photo still physically pains me. The allied Independence not only got deplaned, but in the last 20 seconds turned into an enemy destroyer, got killed, and flipped the points after a backbreaking carry by my division (note the base exp)- DEFEAT. What is this. WHY AM I PUTTING UP WITH THIS DAY AFTER DAY. TODAY ALONE IN 4 GAMES WITH CARRIERS 2 GOT DEPLANED AND 2 SAILED INTO THE ENEMY, INCLUDING THAT TAIHO. WHAT ARE THE REASONS. To me, the cause of this is how absolutely horribly the CV class has been designed. There's a difference between a badly balanced ship, and a badly designed one. The CV class is TERRIBLY designed IMO has brought about a plethora of issues, including and not limited to... 1- Intra-class Imbalance The interaction between carriers and other carriers is flawed. Note tier 7, with Sai-pain's infinite unpenalized strafing works, Kaga's one-shot kill drops, keeping in mind the state of the silver CVs. How about tier 8? The fiasco that was Graf Cr... I mean Zeppelin, a carrier so out of wack it had to go through the process of removal and community testing? 2- Inter-class Imbalance Carriers are not "clear cut" more powerful than all surface ships, but they are in most cases and tiers the highest influence class. They can do unavoidable drops on many surface ships (see USN CVs, high tier especially) and can spot destroyers and heavily influence the capture points and the game. This on its own is not outright bad... but consider... 3- Carrier Skill Gaps Since CVs are a high skill class, the population of players who plays them well is... relatively small, which is why I respect such players. However, WoWs is free-to-play and that inevitably brings about the people who are less than skilled. Measures have been taken to penalize poor play in carriers, but this hasn't stopped many individuals from failing their way up the trees. I won't pull any names. Bad carriers, especially ones with poor attitudes along with poor skill, can be... notoriously well known. This means that a portion of the CV population will continuously roll over the other without much effort. This skill gap is, IMO, further aggravated by recent changes to low tier CVs (bring out your “it stops sealclubbing” argument now, then remember the 4 point AS skill exists) that gives any new CV player a rough ride into the tiers that alt-drop, with visible effect on especially tier 6 carriers. Okay, so you say "skill gaps exist in all classes?" I say "it's worst in carriers". Remember how CVs have a small but highly skilled group on top? This causes a metaphorical "top heaviness" in CV vs CV interaction. Furthermore, CVs are high influence and one CV being steamrolled or doing something unspeakably stupid spells doom for their own team moreso than any other class doing the same. Thus, this skill gap is more influential in carriers than in any other class, and also has more negative effects for the teams when carriers are involved. It's also pretty rough on a new player picking up carriers. The gap only widens. 4- Badly-designed Mechanics Involving Carriers The following complaints have reached me from even good carrier players. AA mechanics are iffy, RNG filled and a select number of ships turn the skies into the Bermuda Triangle. Then we have AA powercreep? (look at that Kidd). The carrier UI and how it handles lag/latency is another talking point. Such issues make playing carriers unpleasant. On the other hand, CVs are bad-mechanic riddled. A good example would be the APDBs. Anti-battleship you say? Watch a full HP Des Moines get left clicked to oblivion. Today a LEXINGTON APDB took 22k off my Zao. WORKING AS INTENDED. I won't even talk about the juggling of carrier loadouts, including recent USN changes. 222 Midway totally hasn't pushed Hakuryu into the sub 50% WR zone. This list is once again not exhaustive, but put the factors here alone together. Here's a possible vicious cycle. Carriers in their current state > Skill gap widens > Steamrolls with CVs occur > More hate for carriers "throwing games" > More AA builds and ships > CV changes > Updates > Flawed Mechanics > etc. etc. I have more CV issues to bring up, but it's getting tiring on me. GET TO THE POINT. I HATE CARRIERS. CVs are ruining my games. Causing me defeats. Causing negative experiences. I'm not alone. I'm sure issues like this are giving the CV players pain, especially those who are well-educated on their own class. Community opinion of carriers is poor. You see phenomena like "CV blame" or "CV hate" and this community opinion is totally justified. In fact I'm willing to say the majority of players usually consider the presence of a carrier an element that makes a round worse than a round without a carrier. I've seen CVs tell me about how "everything runs AA builds" and honestly, this is because people want to mitigate this flawed high influence element of carriers. In turn, this gives CV players a bad time. Let's throw more stuff into my CV hate soup. How about the aforementioned APDBs with autodrops wiping full HP Tier 10s? Seems enjoyable. Carriers committing suicide and other forms of manipulating the CV's high influence for "griefing"? Groups of players using carriers to sync drop or mess with MM? Oh, let me rant about that last one too. In my first solo T10 game of 2018 a clan had a solo Essex on my team and a Taiho divved with a Des Moines group on the enemy team. Same clan. Seems fishy? Well, the Essex strikes like normal, but proceeds to fly his planes into the enemy side where his clanmates shred them. I call this out to my team. Fortunately, a group of players agrees to help try to stop this possible "clan feeding", and we take out one of the Des Moines and start taking the objective and point lead. This is when the Essex possibly starts trying to "sabotage himself" so the larger div of his clan mates wins the game. First, he lets a flanking, border riding Shimakaze close the distance to him. When I successfully intercept this DD, he refuses to spot it. When the DD dies, things go back to normal again for a while, but then suddenly he charges straight into the enemy flank. I believe he was trying to flip the points by essentially killing himself. He succeeds, but an objective lead and two last minute kills make my side win by 20 points. Mission accomplished? No, I just felt outright sour at the usage of CVs like this. How else can CV divs manipulate MM apart from such syncdropping, assisted by low carrier populations especially at high tier? How about 2 T6 ships divved with a T5 carrier, or two T8 ships divved with a T7 carrier, thus essentially forcing MM to give them a more advantageous tier spread? Are CVs the kingpins of such manipulation? To me, yes. And we return to the vicious cycle- such actions make the community hate CVs more, and CVs suffer more, and so on. Oh, I almost forgot. Premium carriers. An Enterprise on my team 1 day after the release sailing into the center of Tears of the Desert and dying without launching planes? People with no carrier experience given the opportunity to ruin games by buying high tier CVs? The imbalance of premium CVs? All contributing to CV hate, no? And if it isn't obvious, people hate seeing their own CV getting steamrolled too. Yay, my CV is useless and the enemy CV, the highest influence class in the game, is now facerolling my team. Bit of a roundabout point, but I'm summing this all up. CV hate grows due to these factors, among others. And so on. And so on... AND SO ON. And with countless games ruined by the class with the derogatory nicknames of "Sky Cancer" or "Cancer Vessel", this is why I make my stand that I should not have to tolerate the existence of CVs, which is a huge mistake in the face of WoWs even the developers have arguably acknowledged (Clan battle CV exclusion? The post about carriers being unsatisfactory and the developers being unsure about what to do?). As someone so utterly salty about repeat horrible experiences with carriers, my opinion on "what to do" is more radical than most's. Once again, WHY AM I PUTTING UP WITH THIS. CVS ARE A MISTAKE IN A VICIOUS, SELF DEGRADING CYCLE, AND NOONE TRULY CAN AGREE ON WHAT IS TO BE DONE WITH THEM. Honestly, a deep down, less logical part of me wants a carrier removal. I'm being self reaffirmed that carriers are sinking further and further into their mess, and that they are "too far gone" to have their reputations fixed or the class resolved. The alternative to a hardline removal I've talked about would be a bypass. Say... an option to never see a CV in your game until the rework (we know one is needed- CVs are too flawed). Regardless of what ship you play. You get the choice, say "No, I do not like CVs" and never see them again until they are fixed. The latter suggestion brings about the questions "Wouldn't this make playing carriers horrible because the only people who want to see them are AA build, or worse, if the majority of the community hates carriers and says no (something I believe is totally possible), would getting a game as a CV be impossible?" Personally, I don't care anymore. Carriers have done enough to ruin my experience in a game that, while far from perfect, I otherwise enjoy, and I don't want to see their ugly flat-decked faces ruining my games and turning my hard fought victories into defeats through abuse of their high influence anymore. This rant is sponsored by the countless "allied" carriers who may as well have teamkilled me outright (and... the one or two CVs who accidentally did drop me)- Who have ruined my games, who have used their ships to put their teams at disadvantages whether willingly or not, who have made WoWs unpleasant enough for me to warrant posting this. My apologies go out to the few good carrier players out there that give me the only fading reasons to try to talk about carriers in a reasonable manner. I still respect you for being skilled and often nice or understanding to me in chat, but your class is bad for the game. I also know the developers of WoWs probably put more dedication into their game than most of the community probably believes, and that expecting them to get a class as complex as CVs right might not be fair. Everyone makes mistakes. You guys made carriers. I pity you. Rant over.

    What really frustrates me

Decorate your ship with the best camo and flags for the purpose of grinding more exp and fxp only to end up losing miserably, and there's the time when you decided to equip it with okay camo or bad camo and some flags, and boom you win the battle easily or a pyrrhic one. I was like oh why oh why, why is this happening to me huhuhuhu I'm so frustrated that my camo and flag supplies are almost run dry. Phew I vented out my frustrations and do better next time. P.S. I'm sure anyone experiences this hahaha lol xD
  6. Ok. this is just a rant coming from me, I'm a noobie player with 2000 battles so far and just managed to get my Musashi maybe a week back which I would come to regret it direly. I was super excited to test out the Musashi since its said to be the sister ship of the Yamato. I thought 1.8 sigma is nothing important and lack of AA is not that important since Asia server has small CV playerbase and its kinda rare that you actually get to meet one. So ok, I went into my first battles with my Musashi. Since I've never rode Yamato before I wasn't used to the gameplay yet and caused my team to burden me whos dealing less then average damage and literally almost not contributing to the team at all. (Sorry if you meet me back then.) then about 40-50ish matches with the Musashi now and I get a decent hang of it by now. YET! still I could not even hit my shells at a 7km Ibuki who was showing me a broadside which became literally a 'Shotgun' (god RNG why) there were times where I thought I could get the citadel but it did not infact it overpens and there were times which I thought "oh my shells are not gonna citadel definitely." But it does citadel. And Musashi does not even have a credit earning factor like Missouri nor does it have radar or sonar. I don't know I might be playing it wrong but Musashi is just BAD for me. I wish WG can give me back my 750k exp so I can just get a Missouri or a Yamato :'( or please buff sigma plz?

    Less type specific missions plz?

Remember the first week of Yamamoto Isoroku mission, that cruiser part? The whole high tier gets cramped with cruiser, whoever gets detected gets HE spammed. Fun? Well we all know the answer. IMO despite all the whining of "BB too many", the casual MM and meta is kinda enjoyable, at least not too bad. And here we are at the beginning of a new campaign, and… Oh not again, all four missions ship type (and even nationality) specific? With two easiest ones suggesting cruisers to spam battleships? I can see where this is heading, oh no, no no no no no…
  8. This ship , despite its generous HP pool and good guns attract too much attention. I cant play any match decently when whenever i pop up the whole enemy team try to shoot me back. I dont know why , but this thing attract too many pyromaniacs trying to burn it. Here i was being careful keeping combat to 17km to avoid attraction and the whole enemy team setting me ablaze. EVERY SINGLE DAMN SHIPS try to fire on me. Looking at the minimap , sure a flank shooting me is nothing new , when i see the minimap , suprise suprise the BB on the other flank also try to shoot me even when i am trying to disengage and clearly above 23km+ away from them The IJN playstyle of static long range firepower just dont work anymore , atleast for me. It isnt fun being the meatshield even though there are a lot of allies that are much more dangerous. Being the meatshield every single game is too tiresome for me. Is there anything to fix this , Izumo isnt exactly great at any fight other than long range platform that get drooled by a lot of DPM farmers
  9. So we all know War Gaming likes to throw their historical accuracy out the window at times, but I would not have realized this if I didn't see it for myself, I am a Yamato captain fully built for secondary action, the max range that I can get my secondaries up to is 10.6 kms, I was in a training match with another player who captains a Bismarck also secondary built, however being the aggressive person that I am I rushed in softened the enemy team and died fairly quickly and as expected my secondary guns started opening up at 10.6 kms, now I realize that Bismarck has better secondaries than the Yamato in some aspects, but what I didn't expect is that my friend in the Bismarck had his secondaries going off at a target 10.9 - 11.1 kms away, and his ship is tier 8, now if this is actually a part of the game I believe that because Yamato's 155mm secondary guns were literally taken off a Mogami class cruiser they should have the same range as when they were on the cruiser 14.2 kms, because balance wise I do not think for a second why Bismarck should have better secondary capabilities than a ship that is 2 tiers higher than it, Großer Kurfürst I can understand but oh wait it has 10.6 km secondaries just like me, not this far fetched ridiculousness of 11 km secondaries on the Bismarck, so I ask why Bismarck should be the all round seasoned fighter with impenetrable armor better secondaries than tier 10 battleships a relatively high speed and faster rate of fire with main guns that hit harder than 460mm guns, they are taking a ship that was powerful in some but not all ways and giving it extraordinary combat capabilities that don't seem to match what the real Bismarck was capable of if it was implemented into a game, War Gaming if you even have the slightest bit of attention to listen to what we are saying you should tend to this issue.

How do you play this game ?

As an IJN main i just don't understand how to play this game anymore 100 days ago it was going fine, bought a year of premium, about 3 months have passed the game doesn't seem to be playable i am an above average player putting average = 50% win rate i don't like russian ships for personal reasons i hate Cleveland because my aoba can't seem to citadel it i dislike how painful german AP are i dislike the acceleration on British cruisers dang those IJN HE hurts annoying USN gun arcs that you can't return fire ? everything seem fine until you put radar into the game and well.... how to even play destroyers now? i seriously don't mind playing shimakaze even i have 0 torpedo tubes or just with those slow 20km torpedo, i am a safe player , RIP long range torps in tier 8 ++ i love em to be honest and reason for their removal was cuz of team kills ( from what i heard) well.... its not like i care if i did a team kill or i become pink because i have faith i wouldn;t be pink because only bad destroyer players are behind friendly ships for the most part but honestly Radar hurts, i can't even play anymore.... someone gotta fix the concealment changes to something that allows DD to have some chance in this game else please just remove the ship class of Destroyers entirely
  11. yangdup

    Sorry but going to rant

So i had this match were the MM screwed up so bad, i was in the IZUMO in a tier 9 battle and the ship line ups were so bad, each of us had 2 DDs each but they had a benson and a kegaro while we had a kegaro and mahan , they tried to cap but... they just couldn't also because they had a belfast , mogamis whilst we had arp myokos and atago. the BBs were quite equal well they had a fedrick de grosser and missouri and my team a izumi and a izumo . did 189 k damage 4 kills and loss cause our team just could not cap.
  12. Though it would be more correct if Akizuki was mentioned instead of the Khab.
  13. Being one of the first clan to be created you do not appear in the WoWs Clan list where even the newest clan are listed but having 28 noobs in your clan no one remembers your clan anyway my clan is so shit heck tell me how to get above 50 WR stuck at rank 6 omg this is impossible why i dont even care about grammar anymore my clan sucks i suck at this game there is no place for potatos like us anywhere in this game my life sucks my life is a complete failure omg why why is this maybe i just happen to suck at any game i play 2000 battles means im still stuck at 48 WR my clan sucks no one even know we exist feels bad man.jpg
  14. I just want to change my username and rest in peace, because bad things associate with my username and I want to start again But some still have to mention my old name, to make others know that i changed my username. Just why? Im done with this. Mod please remove my forum account just like you did with lewd-chan
  15. There are a lot of discussions about mission rewards and ARP ships lately, and I just thought to put my two cents in. Feel welcome to object to anything I may have said wrong. The good: They are special ARP ships after all, comes with a skin every other player can see (unlike the WOT (PC) & GuP modpack collaboration which only the player who installed the mod can see), each ships comes with their own ARP captain and seiyuu, and, in most cases, comes with 10 or more skill points. And their in-game stats- both Kongo and Myoko are good, so these carbon copy ARP ships shared the same stats, Hey, better than getting a ARP Karlsberg or ARP kawachi or ARP Pensacola right? The bad: They are CARBON copies of ships, Literally COPIES, there are no difference what so ever, so except what I mention above about the difference skins and seiyuus, they are just two ships really: Kongo and Myoko. And offer no different play style/game model at all. If you look at the WOT (Blitz) & GuP collaboration tanks- 1. the Panzer IV Anko SP (tier 5) use a different model than the Standard panzer IV (tier 5), it comes with a decent 7.5cm gun and spaced armour in addition to the anime skins and seiyuus. Also, textures is more detailed than the normal panzer iv. 2. the Kuro Mori Mine (tier 6) is a different model than the standard Tiger 1 (tier 7) , it is similar to the tiger 1 in other aspects except the fact that comes with a medicore 8.8cm, however, because it is a tier 6 rather then a tier 7 it gets a better MM. Also texture is more detailed then the normal tiger 1. Do you see what I am getting at? Our ARP ships, offers completely no difference to the normal gameplay style to the kongo and myoko. Not even the game model is changed by a bit, only the skins. Honestly, even before the ARP ships came, I was already very mad at WG for putting a goddamn ugly Hiei bridge on a ship that is suppose to be Kongo. The ugly. One thing some people still don't realise is that, these ARP ships are not 'PREMIUM at all, and are worser than standard kongo and myoko. 1.It offers no increases in neither credit or exp income. 2.The captains, though interchangable without penalty, can not be used on ships other than ARP ships. 3. It can not equip camo, mind you, that half a kilometre of evasion really makes a difference, especially in ranked. If you look at the EU server which gives the RN DD as reward, first they came with a 12 point english captain, which can actually be used on british cruisers to come, that little agile dd has increased credit and exp income, which is what a premium ships should do. Their reward ship actually can contribute to in game benefits, our ships, jsut functions as a normal kongo/myoko, and captains cant even be switched out with normal captains, what's the meaning of these ships then (other than a skin and voice which mod can do as well)???? Our rewards are useless when compared to theirs. Yes, maybe their mission currently looks harder than our nachi mission, but remember, we have to do a lot of missions for all 8 ARP ships, they do one and thats it. And remember how hard the first ARP kongo and myoko missions are? 30 DD kills, 30 CA kills????? Oh and do you know NA gives Mikasa out for free?
  16. normal I don't complain about it but to day is the WORST DAY OF MY WOWS LIFE!!!! got this in 3 continuously match... I'll say again CONTINUOUSLY match.... if you could see file name, you'll know it all 3 detonation happen within 1 hour I can't play anymore today, my head too hot! damn it, damn it, damnnnnn iiiittttt CURSE YOU WHOEVER THINKING OF THIS SYSTEM!!!!
  17. Carrier players are SHIT! That's what most people think. In fact, whenever they see a Carrier, they think "oh this bastard sailing a boat with planes is gonna carry us" but in reality it's not like that. Well, not entirely. People seem to think that the Carrier's job is helping the team kill ships. That's not wrong. What most people fail to see is that Carrier game exists on a different plane: as a Carrier sailor, your job is to help your team while hindering the enemy Carrier to do the same. People fail to see that, a Carrier player on your team not only fights the whole team from afar, but he's fighting that one person that can screw the whole team completely: the Enemy Carrier. Carrier games are basically two guys fighting against each other in an RTS match. Sort of like Korean Starcraft matches: it's all about who plays better. But WoWs is not just about boats with planes: The Carrier is just one ship of the 12. Remember that the Carrier dictates the flow of the battle by damaging enemy ships, spotting, and swatting enemy planes from the sky (or at least mess up the bombers' aim). I've been in matches where I help damage enemy ships, only to get Carrier-sniped halfway through the game, but it was my damage to the enemy ships that made my teammates get easy kills and a win. See, that's how you mitigate the "our carrier is a shitty admiral" issue: his job (in general) is to make it easy for the team to finish off enemy ships. Now because of the nature of Carrier battles, there's fewer Carrier players playing often than any other class of ships. That's understandable and frustrating at the same time. Carrier matches are often decided by their skill: if the Carrier player is *lesser skilled* than the enemy, the team would have to carry hard for a win. Like, the only way you beat a genius Carrier player is if that genius Carrier player has newbie teammates that don't take advantage of the opportunities the genius Carrier player has made. Meanwhile, the least bit a lesser-skilled Carrier player can do if he's up against a ridicolously skilled Carrier is damage. Just that. Damage enemy ships until you run out of planes, then your teammates can take care of the rest. I'm just laying it out here because most people misinterpret a Carrier player's job, and some Carrier players don't understand well of their role in the game.
  18. While my account got banned, WG sent me a email asking me for feedback. feedback? Seriously? Aint no one gonna do that. Yes, maybe WG takes account trading seriously, but BANNING someone JUST because a SCREENSHOT of in-game chat is NOT ENOUGH . WG takes a few hours to ban me And my support ticket is nowhere to be answered after several days Things that I have lost during these days: Premium time that I have bought WG anniversary specials and in game gifts Hours of fun with friends I demand the repayment of my losses

I'm in Australia, and guess what i had worser pings on Asia server than on NA server. Man this is ridiculous, just then I got a ping spike (running the game on my wifi) and guess what, the game lagged me out and i died before that i was nearly in full health and winning. and i was playing ranked yeah man this game is so fun
  21. i dont usually rant here IN the forum but this time i just cant hold my temper, so this is what went down so it was a fubar MM with 2 yamatos, 1 montana and 1 iowa on the other team. and 1 yamato(which was on the other side of the map)2 iowas, and me as a tirpitz on ours. all of their BBs, 1 zao and 1 DM spawned in from of their base(on the top of the map) and on our side(below their base) was 2 iowas, 1 tirpitz, shimakaze(i think he spawned with us) and a atago. so since we were massively out gunned, we decided to play peekaboo with the yammys and montana while our teammates on the other end of the map decided to yolo and make a push, they died. well long story short we lost our iowa, shima and iowa pretty quick because they vetured out out the islands too much, and then was when this guy playing morgami(which is quite famous for ranting in this forum) started ranting about how we were noobs, how we should just go back home and how us 6 noob ships cant beat 4(he really needs to get his eye checked) and things like that when i asked him what great advice he had, he said "group and rush them" "cap their base "yamato has 30s reload you can beat him" "point your bow at them and push until you can use your torps" and now i ask you fellow forum members, if we had pushed, could we have possibly won like he said or is this just another example of ranters who have no idea on how to play this game saying stupid things? i edited his name from the picture so i hope it dosnt count as name and shame

    We need some better tutorials

I'm not sure if WG implemented any better tutorial since I started. But I feel like the current tutorial is not working. First of all, game modes, before a player is allowed to enter PVP or even PVE they should be given tutorials on EACH game modes and WIN the battle in order to get into the actual game. Yes, there is, on the game loading screen, a line which tells you what to do in each game mode but 1st hardly anyone READS them, 2nd currently the game only have 4 languages available we are in god damn ASIA server!! And after they get a new type of ship, they should receive a tutorial on HOW to play it. Like Destroyers should try to hide to an extent and use the white line to guide torps, BBs should stay with ur cruiser teammates. YES there is a line on the matchmaking screen telling you what each type should do but again hardly anyone reads them And CVs.....................when i started playing CV there is no tutorial whatsoever, I only got to know it when my friend who plays CV tells me how to launch planes and how to manual aim. With such a poor tutorial system, of course the gameplay experience will be bad Seriously WG do you even try??? Yes you implemented a tutorial page but It need the user to click themselves and watch a video and so no one bother to watch it, WHY? because it is not complimentary! Actually implement some REAL tutorial rather than implementing a in-game online video plugin.....
