  1. I finally reached T9 IJN CV Taiho! Had plenty of good games with Hiryu and Shokaku but I'm ready to venture the territory of 3 TB squadrons. Can't play her still though, used up most of my credits just for the ship and I still need to get to around 8.5M for just the upgrades. That, and I don't have a premium ship or the like. Recently too, I've managed to start the USN CV line with Langley. Had stellar performances which ironically resulted in a losing streak of 1 out of 6 games won. (My gripe with low tiers is that if a team falls apart, it falls apart waaaay faster) Can't wait to suffer through Bogue Anyone else have a recent milestone or achievement they completed?
  2. First, I'm pretty sure I'm a good player, but definitely not a hero or genius though. I follow team movement, assisting caps or provide necessary cover from them, also blocking enemy horde when my team decide to go to one side ... and definitely not a bluelines abuser nor camper shooter from the edge of artillery max range. Because I'm considering myself a good player, I have a suspicion that I always being placed and teamed with low Summary-Rate's players. Due note, not just only me. From 12 players a team, maybe 4~6 good players and the rest are the lower skill players. My suspicion theory is, Matchmaking placing good ratio players with low ratio players equally, with intention, Skill equality to each team. The base of theory was on 2 reason. 1. When I'm playing BB & CA, it's a 60% win chance. 2. When I'm playing DD (that I have no idea how to play it correctly) or CV (Bogue's 201, Air Superiority) ... it's down to 10% win chance and those matches will end badly. Reason no. 2, because I'm considered good players, but my Ship and play quality impact won't do much influence to the battle situation, high chance it will be a lose matches. Is this suspicion sound reasonable to you ? In other MMO games I play, there are some games that using players skill base and match numbers played as it ground calculation to draw players on each side for skill equality, in hope a better play experience for low skilled players. The problem of this theory is ... if the good players had a bad day or like I mention above, using a ship that he/she not excel with, or less impact ... the team would certainly going down. Some of you would question my suspicion ... but I don't think Matchmaking are pure base on random draw. Correcting about my self statement that I'm a good players, maybe I'm the low skilled player that team up with good player that in his/her bad day. It's up to you how measure my Personal Summary.
  3. So far from what I've seen and experience with Aircraft Carrier, the balance between 2 nations is still a bit messed up. I have some suggestions for changes to Carrier Flight Control (or aircraft loadout in other word) to balance 2 nations out. Might not it solve all the problems with Carriers, but atleast it should make things a bit more fair for both nations. And yes I'm referring to Carrier vs Carrier mainly. As for aircraft setup, I use Fighter/Torpedo Bomber/Dive Bomber format. Example: 1/2/1 setup means 1 Squad of Fighter, 2 Squads of Torpedo Bombers, 1 Squad of Dive Bomber. That was a long wall of text, hopefully someone actually reads through all of them Feel free to discuss, but let's keep the topic around Aircraft setups, and less about other mechanics (no point-blank drop OP stuffs please). EDIT: Some of my suggestions are still not balanced, I might correct them later. EDIT 2: Change log (in case anyone read my pre-edit version): - Changed Zuiho's and Ryujo's loadout suggestion. Now they can field at most 2 squads of Torpedo Bombers. Reason: 3 Squads of Torpedo Bomber is too devastating, especially lower tiers where most ships have mediocre AA. 3 Squads of Torpedo Bombers are available for Hiryu and up only. LAST EDIT: (hopefully) This whole post was meant to suggest solutions to the Bomber spamming problem with Carriers recently, which started when IJN CV appeared. Overall, my suggestions promote more Fighters and less Torpedo Bombers.
