    German Tech Tree Suggestion

Hi WG Dev team, Good day to you all, I would like to propose branch lines for the German tech tree. Please have a look and consider this suggestion. BB will have 2 branch, the battleship and battlecruiser branch CA/CL will have 3 branch, light cruiser, heavy cruiser, and pocket battleship The pocket battleship branch will merge together with the battlecruiser branch at T9. This is due to limited information on Germany's Plan Z, and since Gneisenau's main armament was upgraded to DD will have 2 branch, the 128 mm (5 in) branch and the 150 mm (5.9 in) branch. At T8, Z 23 had the option to mount wither 128 mm (5 in) or 150 mm (5.9 in), but looses the 150 mm (5.9 in) at T9, the Z46. The branch line will allow the player to play the 150 mm (5.9 in) at T9 and T10. Like the Italian T9 and T10, Germany also labeled them as cruisers "Spahkreuzer / SP" but they are comparable to France's Mogador class Large Destroyer, hence they can still be counted as destroyers "Zerstorer / Z" Today I'll start in the reverse order. I'll start from the destroyer aka "loliboats" Original DD line is untouched and will only explain the branch line or the "150 mm (5.9 in) branch" T9 SP1 / Z40 Note: Basically a Z46 armed with 6 - 150 mm (5.9 in)/ 48 guns (3 x 2). Arrangement of 1 forward, 2 aft turret. Note: Due to her size, she is also mounted with 10 - 533 mm (21 in) torpedo tubes (2 x 5) Note: Germany intended to hide her "cruiser" size by naming her Z40, only later to be named SP1. T10 SP? / Z ?? Note: Basically a Z52 armed with 6 - 150 mm (5.9 in)/ 48 guns (3 x 2). Arrangement of 2 forward, 1 aft turret. Note: Due to her size, she is also mounted with 10 - 533 mm (21 in) torpedo tubes (2 x 5) Note: Like in the previous tier, Germany intended to hide her "cruiser" size by naming her Z??, only later to be named SP?. Note: Due to her design, she can counter the French Mogador, French Le Fantastique, Italian Etna, Italian Attilio Regolo " Capitani Romani", and the Russian Khabarovsk. Next is Cruisers. Will update in the following days.

    British Tech Tree Suggestion

Hi WG Dev team, Good day to you all, I would like to propose branch lines for the British tech tree. Please have a look and consider this suggestion. BB will have 3 or 4 branch (depend if WG will implement G3 battlecruisers) Branch 1 -> Main Branch (Already in the game) Branch 2 -> Battlecruiser Branch 3 -> Forward Facing BB Branch 4 -> Forward Facing CC DD will have 2 branch. The Main line and the "Intended Armament" branch CA/CL will have 3 branch. CL branch -> Already implemented CA branch -> Questionable to implement due to her main armament is of heavy cruiser, but her armor is light cruiser. You could citadel them with no problem. Though armament can be compensated to fire every 10 sec. AP rounds only? CLAA branch -> Britain's answer to Atlanta, but less 3 turrets or 6 guns. Today I'll start in the reverse order. I'll start from the destroyer aka "loliboats" Original DD line is untouched and will only explain the branch line or the "intended armament branch" T9 Jutland (133 mm / 5.25 in ) Note: She is Jutland "Battle Class" in all aspect, except, instead of the puny 113 mm (4.5 in), she will be armed with 133 mm (5.25 in), which was the original armament for this ship. But due to shortage of the weapon, the British opt for the 113 mm (4.5 in). T10 Daring (133 mm / 5.25 in) Note: She is Daring "Daring Class" in all aspect, except, instead of the puny 113 mm (4.5 in), she will be armed with 133 mm (5.25 in), which was the original armament for this ship. But due to shortage of the weapon, the British opt for the 113 mm (4.5 in). Additional note to WG: The 113 mm (4.5 in) is now the worse performing guns in terms of penetration. Even with Inertia fuse armed, most ships cannot be penetrated. Would request to update the penetration value of the 113 mm. The current value makes the guns useless and only tickles enemy ships. Thanks Some british destoyers were given to their commonwealth allies. See Commonwealth of Nations Destroyer Tech Tree Suggestion for more details. Next is Cruisers. Will update in the following days.
  3. Hi WG Dev team, Good day to you all, I would like to propose the Italian tech tree. Although my research is incomplete, I would like to ask for everyone's help in filling in the missing ships. WG team also can have input if they have books or historic plans of the Italian Navy. Missing links: T3 BB T10 BB (Although the T10 BB has names, their configuration is very much theoretical. Usually, what France build, Italy answers and vice versa. Pretty much like what UK builds, Germany answers and vice versa.) T4 CL/CA T8 - T10 CA (Though a pretty much possible T8 and T9 CA will have 10 - 203 mm guns in {3 x 2} and {2 x 2} config, while T10 CA will either have 12 - 203 mm guns or 9 to 10 larger than 203 mm guns if any data exists) I kinda understand why WG have difficulty in implementing the Italian tech tree. I'm not sure but they may be facing the same challenges on getting info in Italian ships. Especially on T8 to T10. WG wants it to be as historically accurate as possible. Which I really appreciate and thank them for their hard work. Although my suggestion may not be read or noticed, I hope this suggestion may help them a bit on the research. Please have a look and consider this suggestion. The Italians have main armaments that has fast velocity and heavy shells. Fast velocity shells = overpens in close range??? Heavy shells = limited range??? Italian consumable gimmick = ? (I'm sure WG is working on this, but anyone can suggest a gimmick. Maybe from the space battle or haloween?) BB main line -> This branch is the main battleship line plays almost like US and Russian BB but has that Italian feel / gimmick BB branch line ->This branch line is some what of an odd ball. It looks, fells, and smells like a Battlecruiser but it doesn't. Small decrease in gun calibre/caliber, and small increase in speed while armor stays the same, while playing as an Italian, these ships feels like you have played them before in France, Germany, USA, UK, and Soviet Tech tree. DD line -> Italian DD line. Destroyer Note: Falco shares her class with Romania. Look into Romanian Destroyer Marasti Class and Regele Ferdinand Class Quick detail 1939 config -> 5 x 1 120 mm, 1941 config -> 2 x 2 120 mm Destroyer Note: Like WOT, the P43 was a heavy tank on paper but it is really a medium tank in real life practice and in the WOT game. Same thing will apply to T9 Etna and T10 Attilio Regolo "Capitani Romani Class". Destroyer Note: According to Wikipedia, T9 Etna and T10 Attilio Regolo "Capitani Romani Class" are consdered as crisers. But their design is more of a "Flotilla Leader", hence a "Large Destroyer" like France's Mogador of T10 and Russia's Khabarovsk of T10 are counter these ships. CL line -> Light cruiser line (T4 no Data) CA line -> Heavy cruiser line (T8-T10 no Data) Cruiser note: Since there is no known light cruiser design after Duca degli Abruzzi / Giuseppe Garibaldi, it is uncertain if there will be a T8 light cruiser line. If -> Theoretical T8 light cruiser exist with 12 guns Light cruiser line stops at T8 and the next re searchable tier will be T8 heavy cruiser, thus ending the light cruiser tech tree. Else If -> Theoretical T9 light cruiser design possible Light cruiser line continues till T10. Else -> Light cruiser line stops at T7 and the next re searchable tier will be T8 heavy cruiser, thus ending the light cruiser tech tree. Cruiser note: French and Italian tech tree will have this similarities. What France makes, Italy responds and vise versa. Battleship T3 ???? Armament: ?? x 305 mm (12 in) guns ?? x 120 mm (4.7 in) guns Note: I do not have any idea on this and there are no preliminary designs I can find. Personal Opinion: I can only think of 3 designs for this tier (they are not historical and it is only my personal idea or opinion): Design 1: 12 x 305 mm (12 in) guns (6 x 2) - Regina Elena class design. Main armament and secondary armament is armed with dual 305 mm guns (1 Bow, 1 Aft, 2 Port, 2 Starbord). She can fire only 4 turrets per broadside. She will feel like Turenne (French T3 BB) Design 2: 8 x 305 mm (12 in) guns (4 x 2) - Dante Alighieri design but guns are in dual mount in four turrets instead of triple mount. This will make Dante Alighieri feel skinnier due to less number of guns, but give you an idea how Dante Alighieri should be played. Design 3: 9 x 305 mm (12 in) guns (3 x 3) - Dante Alighieri design but guns are in triple mount but in three turrets instead of four. This will make Dante Alighieri feel short and plays like Normandie (French T6 BB). T4 Dante Alighieri Armament: 12 x 305 mm (12 in) guns (4 x 3) 20 x 120 mm (4.7 in) guns (12 x 1 and 4 x 2) 14 × 76.2 mm (3 in) guns (14 x 1) Note: If you are familiar with Soviet BB Gangut or Okt. Revolutsiya, she will play the same as those Soviet BB. T5 Leonardo da Vinci Armament (As built): 13 x 305 mm (12 in) guns (3 x 3 and 2 x 2) 18 × 120 mm (4.7 in) guns (18 x 1) 14 × 76.2 mm (3 in) guns (14 x 1) Armament (Modernized) (Optional) (Hull C): 10 x 320 mm (12.6 in) guns (3 x 2 and 2 x 2) 12 × 120 mm (4.7 in) (6 x 2) 8 × 100 mm (3.9 in)/47 AA guns (4 x 2) Note: She is the 3rd sister of Conte di Cavour and Giulio Cesare. Note: Leonardo da Vinci was sunk while her 2 other sister survived WW1 and got modenized. Option: Hull C, should Leonardo da Vinci survived WW1, she whould get the same upgrade as Conte di Cavour and Giulio Cesare or better. T6 Francesco Caracciolo Armament: 8 × 381 mm (15 in)/ 40 guns (4 x 2) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) guns (12 x 1) 12 × 102 mm (4 in) guns (6 x 2) Note: She is direct counter to QE2 and Bayern Main Branch T7 Michaelangelo or Raffaello Armament: 8 × 381 mm (15 in) /40 or 50 guns (4 x 2) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) /55 guns (4 x 3) 12 × 90 mm (3.5 in) /50 AA guns (12 x 1) 20 × 37 mm (1.5 in) /54 AA guns (10 x 2) 32 × 20 mm (0.79) Breda MG (16 x 2) Note: Preliminary design for Vittorio Veneto class. 8 guns in 4 turrets T8 Vittorio Veneto Armament: 9 × 381 mm (15 in) /50 guns (3 x 3) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) /55 guns (4 x 3) 12 × 90 mm (3.5 in) /50 AA guns (12 x 1) 20 × 37 mm (1.5 in) /54 AA guns (10 x 2) 32 × 20 mm (0.79) Breda MG (16 x 2) Note: Italy's answer to Richelieu Class. Plays like N. Carolina and Monarch. Note: Battle of Vittorio Veneto (WW1) T9 Caporetto (UP.41) Armament: 9 × 406 mm (16 in) guns (3 x 3) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) guns (4 x 3 or 6 x 2) 12 × 90 mm (3.5 in) AA guns (6 x 2) 20 × 37 mm (1.5 in) AA guns (10 x 2) Note: UP.41 design. Looks, fells, and smells almost like Sovetsky Soyuz class (Russian T9 BB) Note: Battle of Caporetto (WW1) T10 Repubblica Armament (Design 1 - 4 Turret): 12 × 406 mm (16 in) guns (4 x 3) or 8 x ???mm guns (4 x 2) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) guns (4 x 3 or 6 x 2) ?? × 90 mm (3.5 in) AA guns ?? × 37 mm (1.5 in) AA guns Armament (Design 2 - 4 Turret) Andrea Doria type: 10 × 406 mm (16 in) guns (2 x 3 and 2 x 2) or 8 x ???mm guns (4 x 2) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) guns (4 x 3 or 6 x 2) ?? × 90 mm (3.5 in) AA guns ?? × 37 mm (1.5 in) AA guns Armament (Design 3 - 3 Turret): 9 x ???mm guns (3 x 3) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) guns (4 x 3 or 6 x 2) ?? × 90 mm (3.5 in) AA guns ?? × 37 mm (1.5 in) AA guns Note: Direct counter to French T10 Republique / Libertie Note: It is unknown if Italy has made plans for a larger calibre/caliber guns no larger than 457 mm (18 in) in this . The largest guns goes to Japan's monstrosity Yamato Note: Since there is no concrete design after and beyond UP.41, I just speculate that Italy may have thought of a design beyond UP.41 but did not came to light as they fell first after WW2 and faced financial hardship. Personal Opinion: I can only think of 3 designs for this tier (they are not historical and it is only my personal idea or opinion): Design 1: She could have 4 turret slots, but armed with 406 mm in 4 triple mount or ???mm in 4 double mount Design 2: She could have 4 turret slots, but armed with 406 mm in 2 triple mount and in 2 double or ???mm in 4 double mount Design 3: She could have 3 turret slots, but armed with ??? mm in 3 triple mount Side Branch T7 Andrea Doria or Caio Duilio Armament (Modernized 1937): 10 x 320 mm (12.6 in) guns (3 x 2 and 2 x 2) 12 × 135 mm (5.3 in) guns (4 x 3) 10 × 90 mm (3.5 in) AA guns (10 x 1) 16 x 37 mm (1.5 in) Breda AA guns (8 x 2) 16 x 20 mm (0.79 in) Breda AA guns (8 x 2) Note: I am very sure one of them will be a premium like Dunkerque and Strasbourg or Scharnhorst and Gneisenau. Note: She will be familiar as plays like Lyon and KGV. Small calibre/caliber for her tier but has many guns. T8 Filippo Lippi Armament: 6 × 381 mm (15 in) /40 or 50 guns (3 x 2) or 9 x 343 mm (13.5 in)/ 50 guns (3 x 3) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) /55 guns (4 x 3) 10 × 90 mm (3.5 in) /50 AA guns (10 x 1) 20 × 37 mm (1.5 in) /54 AA guns (10 x 2) 32 × 20 mm (0.79) Breda MG (16 x 2) Note: Another preliminary design for Vittorio Veneto. Note: She will be familiar as plays like Gneisenau. (Which will be moved to T8 because of the battle cruiser suggestion I will make in the future) Side Note: Yes, there is really an Italian painter called Filippo LippiIts and not to be confused with the band "Fra Lippo Lippi" which is Norwegian. Stitches and Burns. T9 Isonzo (UP.41) Armament: 9 × 381 mm (15 in) guns (3 x 3) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) guns (4 x 3 or 6 x 2) 12 × 90 mm (3.5 in) AA guns (6 x 2) 20 × 37 mm (1.5 in) AA guns (10 x 2) Note: UP.41 design. Looks, fells, and smells almost like Sovetsky Soyuz class (Russian T9 BB) but armed with 381 mm Note: Battle of Isonzo (WW1) Note: She will be familiar as plays like Iowa or Sovetsky Soyuz with a twist. T10 Impero Armament (Design 1 - 4 Turret): 12 × 381 mm (15 in) guns (4 x 3) or 8 x ???mm guns (4 x 2) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) guns (4 x 3 or 6 x 2) ?? × 90 mm (3.5 in) AA guns ?? × 37 mm (1.5 in) AA guns Armament (Design 2 - 4 Turret) Andrea Doria type: 10 × 381 mm (15 in) guns (2 x 3 and 2 x 2) or 8 x ???mm guns (4 x 2) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) guns (4 x 3 or 6 x 2) ?? × 90 mm (3.5 in) AA guns ?? × 37 mm (1.5 in) AA guns Armament (Design 3 - 3 Turret): 9 x ???mm guns (3 x 3) 12 × 152 mm (6 in) guns (4 x 3 or 6 x 2) ?? × 90 mm (3.5 in) AA guns ?? × 37 mm (1.5 in) AA guns Note: She will be familiar as plays like Montana, Conqueror or Iowa , Lion with a twist. Note: It is unknown if Italy has made plans for a larger calibre/caliber guns no larger than 431 mm (17 in) in this branch. The largest guns goes to Japan's monstrosity Yamato Note: Since there is no concrete design after and beyond UP.41, I just speculate that Italy may have thought of a design beyond UP.41 but did not came to light as they fell first after WW2 and faced financial hardship. Personal Opinion: I can only think of 3 designs for this tier (they are not historical and it is only my personal idea or opinion): Design 1: She could have 4 turret slots, but armed with 381 mm in 4 triple mount or ???mm in 4 double mount Design 2: She could have 4 turret slots, but armed with 381 mm in 2 triple mount and in 2 double or ???mm in 4 double mount Design 3: She could have 3 turret slots, but armed with ??? mm in 3 triple mount Next is Cruisers Full details in the following days.

    French Tech Tree Suggestion

Hi WG Dev team, Good day to you all, I would like to propose branch lines for the French tech tree. Please have a look and consider this suggestion. The Frenchy way Consumables: artillery WD40, and NOS BB main line -> The french way, all guns forward (The french makes things different. Think different) BB branch line -> The traditional way with maximum alpha and a bit of french touch (Quad turret) BB Note: Gascogne is not the premium Gascogne, but rather her armament configuration of 1 front 1 rear turret. I currently do not have a name for her. DD torpedo boat line -> Your usual torpedo loli-boats with 550 mm french baguette. Usually armed with 130 mm. Smaller than her other branch. Small size means better concealment compared to her "large" branch. DD "large" boat line -> A implied they are "large" compared to other loli-boats. Usually armed with 139 mm and really fast for her size. (If you have Aigle, she is good practice boat for this line) Due to large size, their concealment suffer, but with her 139 mm guns will make you think twice. (Larger than Lada's (Russian) 130mm but smaller than BMW's (German) 150mm) CL line -> French light cruiser line, artillery WD40 and NOS at T6. CA line -> Early access to CA like Japan, but no artillery WD40 and no NOS Cruiser note: Since there is no known light cruiser design after De Grasse / Chateurenault, it is uncertain if there will be a T8 light cruiser line. If -> Theoretical T8 light cruiser exist with 12 guns Light cruiser line stops at T8 and the next re searchable tier will be Charles Martel, T8 heavy cruiser, thus ending the light cruiser tech tree. Else If -> Theoretical T9 light cruiser design possible Light cruiser line continues till T10. Else -> Light cruiser line stops at T7 and the next re searchable tier will be Charles Martel, T8 heavy cruiser, thus ending the light cruiser tech tree. Cruiser note: French and Italian tech tree will have this similarities. What France makes, Italy responds and vise versa. Battleship T3 Turenne No change T4 Courbet No change T5 Bretagne No change T6 Normandie No change Forward Guns Branch (The French way) T7 Strasbourg Armament: 8 × 330 mm (13 in)/50 guns (2 x 4) 16 × 130 mm(5.1 in)/45 guns (3 x 4 and 2 x 2) 8 × 37 mm (1.5 in)/50 guns (4 x 2) 8 × 13.2 mm (0.52 in)/76 Hotchkiss MG (8 x 1) Armour: Belt: Dunkerque: 225 mm Strasbourg: 283 mm Deck: Dunkerque: 115 – 125 mm Strasbourg: 127 – 137 mm Turrets: Dunkerque: 150 – 330 mm Strasbourg: 160 – 360 mm Conning tower: 270 mm Note: Armour shows the difference between Dunkerque and Strasbourg. While both ships will have 26s reload time, only Dunkerque will get the WD40 Armament reload booster, while Strasbourg dose not. Question: Should Dunkerque move up to T7 along with her sister Strasbourg or stay at T6? T8 Richelieu Armament: 8 × 380 mm (15 in)/45 guns (2 x 4) 9× 152 mm (6 in)/55 guns (3 x 3) Note: No change. Side Note: Richelieu's Hull A is similar to Clemenceau, the 3rd sister of the Richelieu class, where she recieves 2 extra secondary turrets in her sides insted of usual AA armament of 37mm and 13.2mm were placed. T9 Alsace (N3) Armament: 12 × 380 mm (15 in)/45 guns (3 x 4) 9 × 152 mm (6 in)/55 guns (3 x 3) 24 × 100 mm (3.9 in)/45 guns (12 x 2) Note: No change. Note: The only odd one in the branch as she has rear turret. Side Note: N3 design was the approved design by France since the 380 mm in quad turret is already a proven gun. N2 design would be 9 x 406 mm and N1 would be 9 x 380 mm. T10 Liberte Armament: 8 x 431 mm (17 in)/50 guns (2 x 4) 16 x 127 mm (5 in)/54 guns (8 x 2) 9 x 152 mm (6 in)/55 guns (3 x 3) Note: Republique has 1 forward and 1 rear turret, Liberte has both turret in front and none in the rear. Traditional Style Branch T7 Lyon Armament: 16 x 340 mm (13.4 in)/45 guns (4 x 4) 24 × 130 mm(5.1 in)/45 guns (4 x 4 and 4 x 2) 40 × 37 mm (1.5 in)/50 guns (20 x 2) 24 × 13.2 mm (0.52 in)/76 Hotchkiss MG (12 x 2) Note: No change. Side Note: there were 2 other designs for Lyon and they can be sold as premium. Other Design 1 (Turret Configuration): There was a competing design for Lyon with 2 turrets forward (A, B)and 2 turrets rear (X, Y) (The center turret (C) was moved forward). This means she can fire 8 guns insted of only 4. (source: Journal of United States Artillery, example Tourville) Other Design 2 (Armament Size): there were plans to mount Lyon with 8 380 mm guns, but later abandoned due to time constraints. Personal Opinion: Lyon seems to have a mistake in her design in an engineering stand point. Her funnel is in the front near the bridge tower. Does this mean either the engine is between Turret A and Turret C and have extra long gears to the propeller. Or the engine is in the correct position (which is near in the middle) and have created a long shaft funnel to go forward. Which may heat up the magazine room in Turret C and cause catastrophic explosion. I know im being nit picky on this but it just looks wrong. We can open a discussion this in another topic in the forum. T8 "Gascogne" type Armament: 8 × 380 mm (15 in)/45 guns (2 x 4) 9× 152 mm (6 in)/55 guns (3 x 3) Note: She is Gascogne in all manner and configuration but she is not Gascogne. Gascogne is a premium and will find another name for her, but the configuration of the armament replicates Gascogne. T9 Flandre (N2) Armament: 9 × 406 mm (16 in)/?? guns (3 x 3) 9 × 152 mm (6 in)/55 guns (3 x 3) 24 × 100 mm (3.9 in)/45 guns (12 x 2) Note: Flandre is the 4th sister of the Alsace class. France always likes to make fun of the 4th sister as they are different than the other 3. (i.e. Richelieu -> Gascogne, Lyon -> Tourville) Note: The N2 design arms her with 406 mm (16 in) instead of 380 mm (15 in) in 9 guns. Note: She will look, feel, smell like Iowa class due to her number of guns and configuration. Side Note: N3 design was the approved design by France since the 380 mm in quad turret is already a proven gun. N2 design would be 9 x 406 mm and N1 would be 9 x 380mm. T0 Republique Armament: 8 x 431 mm (17 in)/50 guns (2 x 4) 16 x 127 mm (5 in)/54 guns (8 x 2) 9 x 152 mm (6 in)/55 guns (3 x 3) Note: No change. Next is Cruisers Full details in the following days.
  5. Hey, guys, I make a short video, I do get a lot of this even i use defensive AA or Catapult plane carrier still can attacking you easily very easy in fact... this one of my examples, so yeah WG, please balance at least don't ever make a game where there 2 CV in one game Destroyer have a really important role, when this CV's out it really cripple DD, radar already make destroyer hard please don't do this to Us ( DD player )
  6. Hi Wargameing Dev team, While playing the UK destroyer line it got me thinking, the Commonwealth of Nations fought along side with the British during WW2 in both Atlantic and Pacific theater. And after looking around the internet, I found that it is possible to create a Commonwealth of Nations destroyer line like the Pan-Asia destroyer line. Commonwealth of Nations playstyle/gimmik is the "Creeping Smoke Generator" and the "Individual Torpedo Launch" (Haida and Perth), where as Pan-Asia is "Deep Water Torpedo". The playstyle almost mirrors British DD, smoke, harrass, torp, flee. Almost. But if wargameing has other ideas to make the playstyle unique, I welcome it. Here is what I have come up with when looking around the internet: CA/CL T1 Swan (AU) -> (Grimsby Class) Note: Its T1 DD Line T2 Champlain (CA) -> HMS Torbay (S Class, T Class) Close to HMS Medea T3 Vancouver (CA) -> HMS Vimy (V Class, W Class) Mirrors HMS Valkyrie T4 Waterhen (AU) -> HMS Waterhen (V Class, W Class) Mirrors HMS Wakeful T5 Saguenay (CA) -> (A Class, B Class) Mirrors HMS Acasta T6 Ottowa (CA) -> HMS Griffin (G Class, H Class) Mirrors HMS Galant T7 Napier (AU) -> (J Class, K Class, N Class) Mirrors HMS Jervis T8 Iroquoise (CA) or Ananta (AU) -> ("Tribal" Class) Mirrors HMCA Haida Note: Armed with 6 120 mm guns insted of 8 of the Cossack T9 Anzac (AU) -> ("Battle" Class) Mirrors HMS Jutland T10 Voyager (AU) -> (Daring Class) Mirrors HMS Daring Note: HMAS Vampire already used in T3 and Voyager sounds nice compared to Vampire and Vendetta (Personal Opinion). Like the Voyager satellite. Maybe they can do a unique Camo after space battles. 🙂 T9 Anzac and T10 Voyager guns are too small to do some real damage. In my British Tech Tree Suggestion, I requested for T9 Jutland and T10 Daring be having the option to equip 133 mm (5.25 in guns), or split them as another class with 133 mm (5.25 in) guns installed as default. I would like to see T9 Anzac and T10 Voyager have the same treatment. Either have a 133 mm (5.25 in) guns be optional equipment or have a separate ship with 133 mm (5.25 in) guns as default. And lets not forget our Kiwi friends as well, but will be premium cruiser ships T6 Leander (NZ) -> HMS Leander (Leander Class) - CL Mirrors HMS Leander T6 Ontario or Quebec (CA) -> HMS Valiant (Queen Elizabeth Class) - BB Mirrors HMS Warspite Note: She was never built, but when Canada plans to build her, she would look line Queen Elizabeth in her 2nd refit in 1926 (with 1 smoke stack but retains the original bridge and secondary armaments of 6 in guns) T7 Gambia (NZ) -> HMS Gambia (Fiji Class) CL Mirrors HMS Fiji T7 Canberra (AU) -> HMAS Australia (Kent Class) - CA Mirrors HMS Kent Note: HMS Kent is not yet available in the game as of writing. Foot Note: CA = Canada AU = Australia NZ = New Zealand I hope that you like this suggestion and let me know if I have missed other DD that might mirror them in their respective tiers.
  7. Hi Wargameing Dev team, Blyskawica is kinda lonely being the only Polish destroyer in the tech tree. Could you also add her sister and her predecessor: T6 ORP Wicher Armament (1939): 4 × 5.1 in (130 mm) guns (4 x 1) 2 × 2 pdr (40 mm) wz. 28 AA guns (2 x 1) 4 × 0.52 in (13.2 mm) wz. 30 HMGs (2 x 2) 6 × 550 mm/533 mm/450 mm torpedo tubes (3 x 2) ORP Burza Armament 1939: 4 × 5.1 in (130 mm) guns (4 x 1) 2 × 2 pdr (40 mm) wz. 28 AA guns (2 x 1) 4 × 0.52 in (13.2 mm) wz. 30 HMGs (2 x 2) 6 × 550 mm/533 mm torpedo tubes (3 x 2) Armament 1955: 4 x 100 mm guns (4 x 1) [definitely will require inertia fuse HE or maintain penetration of 20mm to be flexible] 8 × 1.5 in (37 mm) guns (4 x 2) 6 × 550 mm/533 mm torpedo tubes (3 x 2) T7 ORP Grom Armament 1936: 7 × 4.7 in (120 mm) Bofors wz. 34/36 guns 4 × 1.6 in (40 mm) AA Bofors guns (2 x 2) 8 × 0.52 in (13.2 mm) AA Hotchkiss HMG (4 x 2) 6 × 550 mm/533 mm torpedo tubes (2 x 3) ORP Blyskawica Armament 1937: 7 × 4.7 in (120 mm) Bofors wz. 34/36 guns (3 x 2 and 1 x 1) 4 × 1.6 in (40 mm) AA Bofors guns (2 x 2) 8 × 0.52 in (13.2 mm) AA Hotchkiss HMG (4 x 2) 6 × 550 mm/533 mm torpedo tubes (2 x 3) Armament 1941: 8 × QF 4-inch (102 mm) Mk XVI dual-purpose guns (4 x 2) [definitely will require inertia fuse HE or maintain penetration of 20 mm to be flexible] 4 × 1.6 in (40 mm) AA Bofors guns (2 x 2) 8 × 0.79 in (20 mm) AA Oerlikon guns (4 x 2) 6 × 550 mm/533 mm torpedo tubes (2 x 3) ORP Wicher and ORP Grom was sunk during the war, and ORP Burza and ORP Blyskawica survived the war. What if, ORP Wicher and ORP Grom can switch torpedo armament, while ORP Burza and ORP Blyskawica can switch artillery armament. Torpedo Armament for Wicher and Grom: 550 mm = 7 to 8 km, 18400 dmg 533 mm = 8 to 9 km, 14400 dmg Artillery Armament for Burza: 130 mm = 6.5 sec reload 1900 HE dmg and 2500 AP dmg 100 mm = 4.5 sec reload 1600 HE dmg and 2100 AP dmg Artillery Armament for Blyskawica: 120 mm = 6.5 sec reload 1700 HE dmg and 2200 AP dmg 102 mm = 4.5 sec reload 1500 HE dmg and 2000 AP dmg This will make them flexible and be comfortable to players who wish to brawl or ninja their enemies. I hope you will take these into consideration. 🙂
  8. Hi Wargameing Dev team, I would like to suggest a complete Pan-America destroyer line. However I came in 2 problems: 1. I cant find a suitable T1 for the Pan- America gunboat for the tech tree and need help on this. 2. Pan-America needs a unique gimmick or play style (Pan-Asia Deep-Water torpedo, British ambush and flee destroyer, German tanky destroyers, Russian suicide tactic, Commonwealth creep smoke). May it be armament, consumable, or their stats. However I was able to complete a destroyer line for Pan-America. I hope you like them. 9. Hi Waregameing Dev Team, Would like to suggest to add Estonian Destroyer Vambola at T3. And Lennuk at T4, Vambola is Kapitan Miklucha Maklai (Orfey Class Destroyer - Russia) Lennuk is Avtroil (Izyaslav Class Destroyer - Russia) Both ships are from Russia, both ships were captured by the British in 1918, given to the Estonian Navy. Like Polish Destroyer Blyskawica, they may be premeiums and may or may not have unique playstyle. And fly the Estonian flag. Note: Both ships were sild to Peru in 1933: Vambola as Almirante Villar Lennuk as Almirante Guise These 2 may be possible to create a Pan-America Destroyer line. Although my research is still incomplete, but it is possible to create a Pan-American Destroyer line. Just need a Playstyle/Gimmik
  10. Hi Waregameing Dev Team, Would like to suggest to add Romanian Destroyers Marasti and/or Marasesti at T6. And Regele Ferdinand and/or Regina Maria at T7 Like Polish Destroyer Blyskawica, they may be premeiums and may or may not have unique playstyle. And fly the Romanian flag.

    Recommended Premium DD

Hi All Been getting back into the game recently and was thinking of dropping some cash on a premium ship finally. Been enjoying my destroyers to no end so i'm thinking of grabbing a premium one of those. But having been out of the loop for a while I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations on which one will be a sound purchase? I've heard a lot of good things about the Loyang due to it's hydro but thought i'd check in again since that thread was from 2017. Thanks in advance all! (and sorry if this is a question asked hundreds of times before, I don't dwell on the forums and couldn't see a similar thread in the more recent posts)
  12. My crappy ISP may have prevented me in sating my ships (and blue bawks duties) gameplay this few months, but at least it won't screw over whats long overdue: badposting about ships. Might badpost about Mogador if I'm that eager to. I PRESENT TO YOU THE LE FANTASQUE Because large destroyers carrying big guns and scoffing at fellow destroyers' speeds make peepees hard apparently. Back in the days, the notions on how2destroyer wasn't exactly clear as day to most and people got raving about what a destroyer is all about. I mean after the "stop spamming dreads" rule that is the Washington Naval Treaty as well as the tonnage enforcement it lugged around, France wasn't exactly waiting around since they had some stuff to laugh like madmen for... I mean THIS destroyer impressed everyone: ... and it ain't helping that nations were also looking at torpedo tech, better ship design via trial n error and improved boiler stuff since designs had to be chopped up in order to be sort of compliant to the Treaty. Then come the French laughing like madmen in the design board with their own versions on how2destroyer. Normally, there are two 'lines' on French destroyer thought: the torpilleur d'escadre and the contre-torpilleur, basically torpedo oriented destroyers and destroyers that kill destroyers. the TE's are the ones that aggressively torpedo big ass ships like cruisers and battleships but if there's a destroyer squadron near the targets, they run away from that while also torpedoing them in the hopes of blasting one or two in order for the CT's to move in and just pulverize the crap out of them WHILE TORPEDOING THEM as well if they get to optimal range. Now this notion is presented because the contre-torpilleurs have big guns (and they can not lie), and I mean big since what madman crams 138's on destroyers? the CT's that's what. Oh and did I forget to mention the CT's also have the potential of chasing destroyers and gunning them down with speed? The first of these were the Jaguars but the most gritty and fastest ones are the Le Fantasques, THIS destroyer being very most notable because GLORIOUS 45.1 KTS SPEED DURING SHAKEDOWN HURR. Mogador and her sisters can't be gritty enough as they manly death'd at Toulon to give the Germans the giant middle finger. You guys already saw an example of a torpilleur d'escadre and played one before: Cyclone of the Bourrasque class during the Dunkirk evacuation and to those that bought Aigle, congratulations, you are playing the lead ship of the Aigle contre-torpilleur destroyers. BEHOLD, LE TERRIBLE. and yes I shed manly tears when I saw this DD, stats be damned I WANT ONE. Lets talk about big sister Le Fantasque. Contrary to looks, this destroyer and her sisters are legitimately thicc. No really, they are. Apparently the Vauquelins need more beef and hax and the most ideal solution is to start building a destroyer while chanting "stronger, faster, better, tougher", the end result of those shenanigans being the Le Fantasques. The destroyers got better 138's (longer ones to be exact compared to the 138.6/40 aboard the Aigle as they were 138.6/50 and had better charges) in single mount AB-Q-XY's, some 37mm close-in AA guns, 13mm machine guns, 550mm torpedoes with nine tubes divided to three each, one in the aft on the centerline and the others on both starboard and portside as well as depth charge racks which were within the stern (the depth charges literally exited her ass in two separate racks), later got some 40mm Bofors and 20mm Oerlikons as well as some radar and sensor hax after sitting idly in the US. The damn things could run at 40 kts nominal but as it stood, 43 was just full-on flank for the things, and this is saying much on Terrible running naked during shakedown which made her reach 45.1 kts and to this day, no ship can still catch up to her. most of her space is just gritty engine. And boy there were big... not just the guns... they were larger than the contemporary destroyer. I mean because the madmen made these monsters of destroyers without batting an eyelash, its not really surprising yet weird at the same time that skubs had to reclass em as "light cruisers". yes, LIGHT CRUISERS. let that sink in. About the guns... Normally, being destroyers whose single mode of existence during surface warfare is to rip apart other destroyers, getting dakka was fine, but somehow the French wanted RPC (Remote Power Control) where the gunner with the rangefinder slaves the guns to where he's looking at up top but for strange and derpy reasons, it didnt exactly quite work out with destroyers which is a shame since the Fantasques were quite decent gun platforms that didnt list a lot in rough swells but at least the things were working in Richelieu's 155's during Dakar so there's that. Running out from the Lorient Arsenal, she was just doing some runs (and showing off her blistering speed) and then some when Germany steamrolled on Poland and the threat of red flagged raiders loomed so she and Le Terrible decided to become privateers (Jean Bart and Surcouf shed manly tears in their graves) and actually plastered as well as capture merch ships and was part of the forces that tried to whack Graf Spee. It wasn't helping that the Germans were also beating the hell out of the hardened French units on the ground so they were placed at Dakar along with Richelieu when a Brit task force was rolling towards the port in order to drop a gigantic STOP in their faces since DeGaulle believed that he can convince the garrison there to join the Brits since the whacking at Mels el Kebir was apparently a big oopsie on the Brits' part via Force H apparently and be sailing as part of the Allied fleet and things went sideways... A LOT. I mean bad weather was getting in the way and add the fact everybody was just poking shells at each other without gritty effect and Richelieu was still not exactly combat ready but a turret did respond to Barham and Resolution after getting hit while Le Fantasque and another destroyer was running smokescreens to cover the more tougher units at Dakar which included a couple of cruisers as the local station but because GLORIOUS SPEED, she was bracketed but goddamn didn't even suffer a brutal hit. Torch happened and both her and Le Terrible went to Brooklyn for a facelift that gave them a load of stuff like ASDIC, surveillance radar, better AA dakka than what they had, and overhauls and sent them to be Richelieu's aides as she herself was in there with turret B practically blown up because lolshells. Then they reignited their privateer blood and started wreaking havoc on German convoy lanes, one of them getting rather daring to plaster the crap out of the convoy by doing what they were made to do: get in and plaster the crap out of enemy ships and get out like a boss as well as provide gun drive-by's. Ran later in Indochina and eventually rested after a long and crazy run. Now people might say "lol France has a navy?" and shens like that but if there's one thing their grit carried on, it was the Le Fantasques. Sure it wasn't as manly tear inducing as Taffy 3, the Benson Laffey getting in the deep at Guadalcanal or the crazy game of tag the convoy at Ormoc, but these destroyers served their tenure. Derp.exe is over. I'd like to thank my friend for letting me borrow Jordan's book about FRDD's
  13. There is Tachibana Lima (tier 2 premium destroyer) mission available for both EU an NA servers. The mission runs between 23rd May to 4th June. https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/common/free-premium-tachibana/ Why is this mission not available for Asian server ? Its a Japanese Ship so why not for players playing game on Asian server ? It would have been nice if it was made available for us.
  14. The IJN DD line is split in two. I find I prefer the alternate tech tree boats, the stealthier Minekaze/Hatsuharu/Shiratsuyu over the larger, main line DDs, Mutsuki/Fubuki/Akatsuki. Though I liked Mutsuki well enough, I could not adjust to the high detection radius and low speed / maneuverability of Fubuki or Akatsuki. My favorite ship of the combined lines up to T7 is Hatsu. Over time my IJN DD playstyle has adapted to (and stuck at) the ultra-stealth ability of that particular ship so I'm struggling to do much of anything with Akatsuki. How do you do well in Akatsuki when you are so easy to spot and so sluggish to move? I can't seem to be able to effectively contest caps given the high number of Russian and USN gunboats in play, and even spotting for the team risks being outspotted by enemy DD and deleted by the supporting high tier, high DPM cruisers... I'm definitely missing some key point somewhere. Maybe play much closer support to friendly ships? Maybe do the lone flank run and torp enemy BBs?
  15. I basically started this game out after looking how beautiful Yamato is. well I did get a Musashi already and made a rant in my first post :P now im getting really used to it. So one way or the other I played WoWs for 2 years now. back then I didnt have anything noteworthy but still remember how OP Minekaze was at tier 5. And how bad Mutsuki was at tier 6. which is now downgraded to being both tier 5 and Minekaze getting nerfed. But seriously its still OP as hell dang. And I mean its good! I use it to release stress and just literally rekt all the straight full speed ahead no manueaver battleships. Minekaze has 5.4 spotting range with full camo and skills + 41Knts of speed with speed flag. Its crazy! torpedoes reload in 40 sec and you can literally spam them geez. Minekaze is the most fun IJN DD I've played so far. (I have until Kagero unlocked and Hatsuharu on the second tree.) Ive never played Akizuki but I'm planning to get it sometime soon. Minekaze is exactly what you would expect in a japanese DD. Bad guns slow turret traverse, fast speed, super good concealment. And lastly which is the most important a Torpedo spamming scrub like I am :D just fantastic ship love it. Its basically a Kamikaze on the main tree. If you havent you should try this hell of a fun ship. its just pure amazing.

    HSF Harekaze third hull guns

First of all, I rarely if ever find anyone who even uses the third hull option for the Harekaze. The gun reload time is just too long and not as competitive as the second hull option. As such I'd like to recommend that the gun reload time to be reduced to be perhaps 3.3 seconds, similar to that of the Benson. So that people actually have a better incentive to use the third hull instead of just using the second hull, 90% of the time. Thank you.

    I know I'm a potato

Okay before people start to bag and say git gud, Der i know that and Der yes i am trying to improve my game hence why i ask for advice but I think some people need a swift boot up the butt. So yesterday, i was playing with a person who had teamspeak and all was good couple of games then i took the Benson out, we tiered up to T10 and i guess i struggled, still scored more than he did but i just could'nt do anything with this ship as radar, spotters and hydro and frankly no support. When i fired I had 4 ships fire back and i got smashed and i just vented OMG i hate this ship it just doesn't seem to do anything i wanted and i spent all game running from shots, slow torps, bloom guns very little i could do. So he told me i have no idea how to play DD's or more to the point US DD's and he pointed out all the things i did wrong, i went are you for real? He said you need to get out in front and smoke us up (which did but then hydro was turned on and on) I told him i did that and every time i was getting smashed by at least 4 ships and he said your job is to get out in front and keep spotting even if you die .... i went there is no fun in that i want to shoot and torp if i can. Well US DD's are not for torping and all you need to do is keep avoiding shots. OMG i said mate these are T10 Cruisers and when you have 4 of them shooting nothing is going to stop them from hitting you at 8kms. So he told me i was a shite player basically. Anyway i decided to just ignore it and the next game i played with my Win/Win Leningrad it was a utter shocker .... yep i sent torpedoes to an island while he was already dead and watching me, any reason why you fired torps into an islands? OMFG he got into my head and it made me the worst potato i have ever been. The crazy thing was only earlier yesterday i had one of the best games and i told him, but he said that is not how to play a US DD You shoot from range WASD hack and you take on DD's and you spot for everyone else that's it. I said well thats boring and i wouldn't play DD's if that is all i am supposed to do. So how does one play Benson when they are playing T10 .... and you are getting smashed by 4 cruisers? Thank you in advance.

Stats are in Tashkent - Big Flop

Well finally the Trashcan Tier 9 stats are in.... https://asia.warships.today/vehicle/3865982416/Tashkent But i found other interesting things in these stats. Tier 9 1# Number one used DD in Asia Kagero (2nd worst ship but still miles ahead of the Tashkent) 2# Highest survival rate Kagero ???? considering it is the 2nd worst winning ship you would think people would either try to fight to win or get sunk doing so? 3# Kill to Death Ratio Tashkent is more than half behind the Z-46 and abysmal 30% survival rate .... wow i didnt know they are that bad. 4# Why isn't more people playing Z-46? Well thats easy, not many people want to grind to this ship and have their W/R drop. 5# Torp hit ratio, the TashKent/Udaloi with just 3%, no doubt in my mind the torps on these ships are just for show. Wow super-testers, game dev guys what where you thinking with this ship?

11 torpedo hit and Konig didnt die!

Hi, Today i fired 12 torpedo to tier V Konig from tier V nicholas destroyer. 11 torpedo scores hit and that konig didnt die. My last 2 Salvo didnt do any damage. How can be this even possible?? Here is my video link to youtube and also replay file: http://wowreplays.com/Replay/24513-FlauntingAce78-Fault-Line Thanks
  21. So with the ARP Takao challenge running i thought i could grind my tier 5 minekaze and get a mutsuki try to complete it. However the mutsuki is god awful for a tier 6 destroyer. It is so bad that i would rather take my minekaze to go up against tier 6 or 7. So here i am asking u kind folks what should i do? Should i stick with it hoping that the new IJN DD rebalance would solve this issue P.S it bloody hell won't Or should i just give up on the ARP Takao?
  22. So, just for fun, I knocked up this quick list of what a potential Royal Navy Destroyer line might look like in WOWs. Seen a few comments about how they were pretty weak so it seemed like an interesting challenge to try and make them work in game. It is true that RN destroyers were much more focused on anti-submarine, rather than surface or anti-air warfare, and they did have a whole string of designs mid-late war that were very much about getting as many usable escorts out to sea as quickly as possible that don't translate well in game and would be very under-powered at higher tiers, but even after you take them out I think you can still do a full 2-10 line almost without any paper ships at all (a little stat fudging is required). I'm imagining these as pretty much a standard line, without any attempts to introduce new game-play or national flavour, but even so they come out quite unique, especially with single launch torpedoes. Soft stats esp. the torpedo type, shell type, aa, and HP can obviously be adjusted for balance. Here are the suggestions - Tier 2 - HMS Laforey (1913 L Class) Pretty standard for a tier 2 DD with 3*1 102mm guns and 2*2 533mm torpedo tubes. Her weakness is the low top speed of 29 knots. Tier 3 - HMS Radstock (1916 R Class) Basically the same as Tier 2, but rectifies the weakness with a top speed of 36 knots. Potential premiums in HMS Skate (RN - served in and survived both world wars), and HMS Radiant (Pan Asia, transferred to the Royal Siamese Navy as Phra Ruang and apparently still floating today). Tier 4 - HMS Voyager (1916 W Class) The peak of British WW1 Destroyer design, 4*1 superfiring 102mm guns, 2*3 530mm torpedo tubes and 34 knots top speed - solid all round ships for the tier. Tier 5 - HMS Ambuscade (1924 post war prototype) Yarrow designed DD with 4*1 120mm guns and 2*3 530mm torpedo tubes capable of 37 knots. Tier 6 - HMS Shakespear (1916 Thornycroft type destroyer leader) Stepping out of chronological order but the ship displacement and capabilities fit well here. Same torpedoes tubes as the previous tier but 1 extra gun. Also capable of 36-38 knots. Would be quite weak AA wise, but a semi-fictional WW2 upgrade could address that. Tier 7 - HMS Afridi (1936 Tribal Class) Having the 4*2 120mm guns would probably not balance well in game so would suggest the WW2 armament of 3*2 120mm guns (with a secondary battery of 1*2 100mm dual purpose guns), and 1*4 533mm torpedo tubes. 36 knot speed, very strong gunboat for the tier but weaknesses would probably be the relatively poor concealment and torpedo armament. HMCS Haidi the obvious premium here. Tier 8 - HMS Jervis (1938 J Class) Also has the 3*2 120mm guns of the Tribal but with 2*5 533mm torpedo tubes and improved aa, all on a smaller (and therefore stealthier) hull than the Tribal. Wouldn't be quite as good a gunboat as the T7 but an all round better DD. Tier 9 - HMS Lance (1939 L Class) Not actually the lead ship of this class but the first ship of the class shares the same name as T2. Additionally, HMS Lance seems to be the first ship in this class with my suggested main armament of 4*2 102mm dual purpose guns (Same ones used on the Black Swan and Edinburgh), once number of barrels and rof are taken into account this is still an upgrade over the T8 firepower. The ship also features 36 knots speed and 2*4 530mm torpedo tubes. Tier 10 - HMS Ypres (1943 extended Battle Class) This is where things get very paper-shippy. RN does not seem to have a good T10 candidate because the normal Battle class would be undergunned in game, while the post war Daring class has a critical weakness of 30 knots maximum speed. However, it seems that there was an extended battle class ship design planned that would feature an extra double turret. This extended class was never constructed and IRL HMS Ypres was converted into the Daring class HMS Delight (commissioned 1953) but for the purposes of game balance I would mix together the Battle and Daring classes to create an extended Battle Class that would fit at T10. That means 3*2 113mm DP guns (these were better at both AA and surface warfare than either the 102mm or 120mm guns, capable of 16 rounds per minute) in powered turrets and 2*5 533mm torpedo tubes with a top speed of 37 knots. HMAS Vampire as an actual Daring class suggested for a Commonwealth T8 premium - the excellent firepower offset by a painfully slow top speed of 30 knots.

    Ionas own ship

guys I give up obviously pushing the limits with anime ships and hybrids of cross ships and submarines is too much, so can we at least fit a ship thats currently in the game such as a good looking cruiser or DD to suit the Iona Commander you know? Say like a Myoko class cruiser fitted with ARP camo thats blue, an I-401 badge at the front, as well as the name I-401 on the bow or something like that? cause I'll be honest I'm a real fan of Iona so I would really like it if she had her own ship until we can possibly start looking at suggestions for hybrid ships when the game is complete? now something like that would be perfectly suited to what I would like only with a Myoko not Atago 3 posts merged into 1: Please edit original post if no 1 else have comment below yours. ~Twisted0ne
  24. Destroyers! Silent and Deadly... the Escorter than seems not too dangerous actually killer IntroMost people doesnt know What Destroyers role and Cruisers role. that actually Easy to understand that they looking for killing too but never know what must they do. there's no denial that people always Aiming for CV and BB. its true you will always seen them mostly in battle. and always shoot at very long distance. But Destroyers , Cruisers are aren't they have different role's Ill split them from IJN and USN. Destroyers USN Tier 2 - Tier 8USN destroyers are All rounder Light Ship which have Fast turning , Fast reload gun turret , and hard to aim Ships. and Short range Torpedo's Your primary job is to disrupt enemy Targeting at 6km or so so... remember you have smoke to use and speed boost to make enemy retargetting you. Tier 9 - 10 in these tier The short range torpedo's aren't problem anymore they have 10km - 16.5km torpedo range which is very useful against any Battleship- Same tactics with Tier 1 and 8 But more Torpedo targetting since your reload for torpedo at 2 minutes etc you will need basic skill like torpedo armament , Basic , and always pick Warning sign to show you being detected or not. Commanders skill 1. Basic Firing training2. Torpedo Armament Expertise3. Aiming Expert4. basic of Survivalbility5. Situation Awareness6. Incoming Fire Alert7. Vigilance8. Superitendent9. High alert10. Last Stand11. Advanced Firing Training12. Demolition Expert13. Last Chance14. Preventive Maintenance15. Concealment Expert16. Jack of all trades What must you do?Since USN destroyers are underestimated. use it. they wont know what the weakness of USN destroyers if you already master it you can use IJN DD very easily. -ZigZag your destoyers when targeted by 2 - 4 ships. run away if you get all attention of enemy fleet try hide approx 1 - 2 minutes from battle. its simple also its easy to remember. -never use AP Shell. just Spam HE shells make them burn overtime.. the Burning Chance from Destroyers are higher than Other's what if you seen Aircraft? Click P (Disable AA) if you inside smoke. if you dont. open Fire on your Anti Aircraft battery help your fleet from Targetting Enemy Torpedo Bomber. its Easy to remember. USN Tactics need to remember- Smoke screen are not just for you. its for your fleet. if you deploy the smoke screen. remember all your ally ships are camouflaged until they shooting. sometimes they camouflaged and still shooting. - Speed boost its helping you to reach your position to disrupt enemy very easily. when you already in position enemy will targeting you and your allies could shoot em without being damaged. remember USN Destroyer are all rounder. since got fast reload , turning Gun turret also it got Short torpedo range. to make anyone closing to you surprised. DestroyersIJN DD(The torpedo masters) IJN DD has different tactics from USN one... this will show you a bit what make's differences between IJN DD and USN DD The primary job of IJN DD is make surprised anyone with Long range torpedo at tier 2 - 4 it stay same at tier 5 - 10 but the differences is the reload time which longer than USN counterpart. Commander skills 1. Basic Firing training2. Torpedo Armament Expertise3. basic of Survivalbility4. Situation Awareness5. Incoming Fire Alert6. Vigilance7. Superitendent8. High alert9. Last Stand10. Advanced Firing Training11. Last Chance12. Preventive Maintenance13. Concealment Expert14. Jack of all trades What must you do? IJN DD are fast speed Destroyers with long range Torpedo. most of IJN DD are Overestimated in fact they aren't that hard to fight. their speed are better than USN part. use it since Speed of IJN DD can go to 42 knots (Tier 5 Minekaze and tier 10 Shimakaze) -never use AP Shell. just Spam HE shells make them burn overtime.. the Burning Chance from Destroyers are higher than Other's tier 2 - tier 4 Spam torpedo and Hide... IJN are master of surprising anyone in the battle. high damage torpedo can always make player afraid to near them. if you could use the gun turret but literally not recommended Tier 5 - tier 8 Target your torpedo and Hide still same with Tier 2 and 4 but now your torpedo aren't reload below 1 minutes (except tier 5) but has literally longer range and also you can use gun turret now to make enemy confused. Tier 9 - Tier 10 what i heard from Kagerou class is kinda underrated IJN Destroyers since it hard to use. use that as advantages.. it maybe has slow speed but easy to manouver - use it zigzag and try to use gun turret to disrupt anyone. it has same like USN characteristic but still doesnt have fast gun turning. but better torpedo's armament. Shimakaze an contrary its a real torpedo Destroyer in the world. you need target correctly and let 20km torpedo do the rest what if you seen Aircraft? Click P (Disable AA) if you inside smoke. if you dont. open Fire on your Anti Aircraft battery help your fleet from Targetting Enemy Torpedo Bomber. its Easy to remember. Tactics need to remember - Torpedo and hide (IJN has Longer range torpedo to use)- same with USN Smoke and speed boost. it just Smoke are needed to you for Hide and Seek mode. so it will make your enemy hard to toe on toe with you
