    WEB COMIC SERIES Iron & Blood

    Hey all. This is a new manga style comic starring the spirit of the infamous Battleship Bismarck and a group of highschool students, as they battle a monstrous entity from the pit and his minions. Known only as "The Beast" This being aims to consume all life in the universe. Issue 1 is complete and comes in 3 acts plus a preface. The Preface and cover of Act 1 is released. The page will be updated every Wednesday and there is a Iron and Blood site in the works. DISCLAIMER. Will feature SUPERNATURAL THEMES, violence, horror, as well as a lot of tongue in cheek humor. Maybe a bit MA rated so discretion is advised PS, I am the Author and i will ask you to look beyond any spelling mistakes lol, I will love feed back etc..... My comic is also endorsed by World of Warships on their facebook page and there are references to the game sprinkled throughout as well as some historical "Easter eggs".     How to Bismarck?

    The Bismarck doesn't seem to have very strong armor, her main battery guns are subpar at her tier and her secondary guns don't seem to be very significant in damage dealing at close to medium range. What is the best way to play the Bismarck, especially when facing higher tier opponents?
  3. This is my personal review of the Tier VIII German Battleship, the Bismarck. Anything that is in here is based on experience, so please keep that in mind. KMS Bismarck Survivability(Hit Points and Armor): The Bismarck has 69,000 Hit Points, which is more than average compared to other Tier VIII Battleships. Theoretically speaking, it can survive longer than her counterparts. However, that theory is let down by her armor. The turtleback armor is designed to protect the ship during close-range engagements, which let her survive longer in those kinds of engagements compared to long-range ones, in which the sloped armor work against the ship it is designed to protect as shells plunging down could easily punch through the armor. In a twist of irony, even in CQC, the ship is vulnerable, as the ship eats a ton of Armor Piercing Damage as nowadays people tend to shoot above the main armor belt. Firepower(Main and Secondary Armaments): The ship's 380mm(15") L/52 Drh LC/34 guns is a mixed bag. To begin with, the shells can do massive amounts of damage, however, it is offset by the fact that, universally speaking, German Battleships have some of the worst dispersions among all battleships tier-for-tier, which means that shells would often have a greater tendency to 'fly' all over the place, and half of the time it can create some frustrating results. Her secondary armaments are powerful, but it noteworthy to point out that fact would cause harm to the player's play, and so a great deal of caution is adviced. Anti-Aircraft Suite: It is powerful. Not as powerful as the North Carolina's, but still enough to decimate planes out of the sky. Speed and Maneuverability: The ship has a respectable speed of 31 knots. Also, along with the other Tier VIII battleship, it has quick rudder shift for a BB, provided that Steering Gears Modification 2 is installed.

    Yellow turret on a Battleship?

    I just want to ask about the yellow turret on the Bismarck camo. Is the yellow turret on the Bismarck made up by Wargaming or is it actually historical? I could not find any historical pictures so.... i guess its a Wargaming thing

HERE WE GO! sheet concealment..... weakest gun.. 380mmx8? illogical dispersion..... when in Bismarck i Missed stopped Alabama at 13km I AM SHOWING BROADSIDE TO BISMARCK IN CHARLES MARTEL at 8km..... ONLY 1 SHELL HIT and its OVERPEN! ITS HALF HP DECREASED BECAUSE TORP..... and i manage to run away straight? Bismarck is tanky? sure, i go ramming enemy BB.... ITS WORKS! anyone here good with Bismarck in ranked?

The title basically say's it all I'm just asking to be sure, if I earned the Bismarck through the 'Hunt For The Bismarck' campaign which happened quite a few months ago, would I be able to buy her again if I sold her? The reason I want to sell her is because I'm strapped for credits and I don't have the patience or money to get more using common methods... And I really want the North Carolina simply because she's a beautiful ship.... And I definitely do not want to sell my Yamato.

    Bismarck Camo Visual suggestion

    Wargaming, in update 0.6.6 you include and update the Bismarck visual exterior (better ropes appearance) My suggestion: by the way you forgot to update the camouflage (ropes appearance) of Bismarck the last conquest Can you fix this in the upcoming update? thanks!

    Bismarck Tips When Not Close Up

    I normally play IJN BBs. I absolutely love my Fuso and especially my Amagi. Just recently got the Bismarck. A very impressive ship indeed and she can do tremendous damage in close and tank like nobody's business. The problem I have with the Bismarck is that sometimes it isn't possible to engage the enemies at close range. The "Tears Of The Desert" map in an "Epicentre" game style match is a classic example: everyone hides at long range and snipes behind the islands on their side of the map. There are no islands you can use as cover to get to the other side of the map, so if any Bismarck captain is foolish enough to attempt a close range engagement... they'll be doing it solo and be bush-whacked by 3 - 4 ships shooting at them simultaneously and killing them very quickly. Where close range engagements are not possible (either due to map layout, the type of game like Epicentre, or player psychology), I often find the Bismarck to be a very ineffective vessel. I don't know if it is the dispersion or the psychological effect of knowing my guns are only 380mm, but it is difficult to hit enemy vessels reliability beyond 15km. When I play my Nagato or Amagi, I don't have this problem. A big frustration I have is that when I sometimes hit cruisers, my 380mm shells will over penetrate. It happens quite often and I think to myself: Is the Bismarck really the cruiser killer people make it out to be? At that same 15km range, I can put the fear of God into cruisers with my Amagi. I have had success with the Bismarck's guns at close range but I think that's besides the point. Basically unless the map's terrain allows me to sneak up on the enemy, or I do a suicide charge, I find the Bismarck just really isn't able to assist my team. The inability of the Bismarck's main guns to hit targets or do damage aside, I'm obviously wary of getting into a 15km - 18km shooting match with the Bismarck because her deck armor is so thin and she's very vulnerable to plunging fire. What strategies do Bismarck captains employ to make themselves combat effective when close range engagements are not possible? When I do fire at enemies at 15km+, I either miss or do token damage... then I have to run like crazy to dodge the incoming plunging fire lest it wreck my ship before I get out of detection range. My Bismarck is configured as follows: Auxiliary Armaments Modification 1 Secondary Battery Modification 2 Damage Control System Modification 1 Steering Gears Modification 2 Concealment System Modification 1 Side Note I have experimented with swapping out the "Secondary Battery Mod 2" with "Aiming Systems Mod 1" to reduce my main guns dispersion by -7%. I didn't really find it to make much difference and I found it really annoying to have my secondaries engagement much later where close range engagements did occur. Regarding "Manual Fire Control for Secondary Armament", I know some people prefer to avoid this Captain's skill because they like the idea of their ship shooting on both sides. I've found that having secondaries shoot at multiple targets wasn't the "hand of death" people might assume it to be: I've found that in practice, when your secondaries are shooting at multiple targets your firepower is divided and thus has less effect on individual vessels. Furthermore you do less damage due to lack of a secondary dispersion reduction you get with manual control. I once engaged three ships at once at close range and one of them was a DD, who could've cared less because whilst Bismarck's secondaries have crazy high DPS there are not that many individual secondary turrets and the firepower was severely curtailed when the turrets were divided over three enemy ships. Don't get me wrong, I did a ton of damage but it wasn't like my multi-ship secondary fire was making the Bismarck a killing machine who can take on multiple enemies and win. I think when your secondaries can target multiple ships, it leads to false confidence. Finally if you're engaging multiple targets at close range, at fun as it is and even if you do tremendous damage, you usually die because you're copping enemy fire from multiple directions. In my mind it's better to have manual control so you can concentrate your secondary fire on a single enemy ship and have a realistic chance of killing them (or near killing them). When your secondaries are manually targeted on a single vessel, it encourages you to angle more effectively and not expose yourself to shell fire from other vessels (which is normally how you expose yourself in order to have your secondaries blazing on both sides of your ship). The one area where I think forgoing manual secondaries might make sense is if you don't want the mental distraction of having to manually target your secondaries, especially if enemies are slipping out of smoke or islands all the time. That makes sense, but that again puts the focus onto the Bismarck's main guns which.... frankly.... I find very lacklustre. Unless I'm 10km or less, I don't really find Bismarck's guns all the effective. I've over-penned plenty of times at that range and I scratch my head thinking what purpose the Bismarck's guns are except for show?

So we all know War Gaming likes to throw their historical accuracy out the window at times, but I would not have realized this if I didn't see it for myself, I am a Yamato captain fully built for secondary action, the max range that I can get my secondaries up to is 10.6 kms, I was in a training match with another player who captains a Bismarck also secondary built, however being the aggressive person that I am I rushed in softened the enemy team and died fairly quickly and as expected my secondary guns started opening up at 10.6 kms, now I realize that Bismarck has better secondaries than the Yamato in some aspects, but what I didn't expect is that my friend in the Bismarck had his secondaries going off at a target 10.9 - 11.1 kms away, and his ship is tier 8, now if this is actually a part of the game I believe that because Yamato's 155mm secondary guns were literally taken off a Mogami class cruiser they should have the same range as when they were on the cruiser 14.2 kms, because balance wise I do not think for a second why Bismarck should have better secondary capabilities than a ship that is 2 tiers higher than it, Großer Kurfürst I can understand but oh wait it has 10.6 km secondaries just like me, not this far fetched ridiculousness of 11 km secondaries on the Bismarck, so I ask why Bismarck should be the all round seasoned fighter with impenetrable armor better secondaries than tier 10 battleships a relatively high speed and faster rate of fire with main guns that hit harder than 460mm guns, they are taking a ship that was powerful in some but not all ways and giving it extraordinary combat capabilities that don't seem to match what the real Bismarck was capable of if it was implemented into a game, War Gaming if you even have the slightest bit of attention to listen to what we are saying you should tend to this issue.

    I heard they are nerfing bismarck's hydro to the normal one. Why would they do that? That was what made Bismarck safe to charge and lead the team with the secondaries but now it will be harder....... WHY WHY WHY

  12. I upgraded all secondary armament such as range and disperstions everything through commander skills,upgrade ship and flags.. It reachs over 10km range but... Not working At all, in 10 km or 2 km does not matter NOT firing even one shot. Fixed it please..
  13. Hey there fellas! I was wondering which of the 3 skills would be most useful for my Bimarck which would be a secondary build. Right now im training my captain on Bayern and i do like brawling quite a lot. I have personally done some research and high alert seems quite right but than again vigilance is also quite tempting.. Opinions and suggestion? Thanks!

    Minor Visual Bug On Bismarck Secondary

    It seems there is a little visual bug in 2 of Bismarck 105mm secondary gun In the status screen it stated that bismarck using the 105mm L/65 Dop. L/37. But the in game models at the 2nd 105mm turret from front on the both sides are rendered using the models from 105mm L/65 Dop. L/31. I Hope this is gonna get fixed in the next patch,

There's also a couple of low-tier German ships also testing. - Blue line becomes a proper "wall" now, you'll hit them just like island and such I think. Available on Ocean and Islands maps only though. - The Hydro something search consumable is available for some lower tier Cruisers.
