    Looking for Tier VI Premium Cruiser

    So as title says, what is the Best Premium Tier VI Cruiser that can I buy right now. (Also open for other tiers/ship types advice)
  2. WoWStats is a great site because it is brutally honest. I had this idea that I was pretty good in Furutaka. Numbers don't lie: I suck. And the reason I'm not as good as the BB/DD lines is equally obvious: I don't play them enough. So this week it's been as much CA games as I can stand, with DD/BB games only when my bruised ego can't take the punishment any longer. It's been quite a drubbing. Taking a break, I'd like to ask you guys a few things... First: Aoba "feels" much bigger, heavier, and more powerful than the upgraded Furutaka but looking at the specs it seems practically just a re-skin. +6% gun range, +3% health, 3 mm more bow armor. Armor, armament, and detection radius are almost identical. So, what makes Aoba a T6 ship? I don't get it. Second: does MM hate me? My win rate is tanking, even though I'm rarely in the bottom third of the leaderboard. It seems the better I play, the harder the enemy team gets and the more likely we are to lose. Also, I'm up-tiered T+2 way more than I used to. So, yeah .... have I angered the MM gods or is that how MM is supposed to work to keep up the "challenge"? (I suspect that since I'm doing relatively well with the BB games, MM is giving me a tough time in the CA games assuming my skill level is equal for all ship types ... does that make sense?) Third: How do you Aoba? DD support I think I have the right general idea, but BB escort I don't seem to be able to find any kind of groove. My play style can best be described as "taking long-distance potshots when I think I can get away with it". Do you position behind a BB to support, or in front? Any advice welcome.
  3. Like the title says, I really need some advice on how to make this ship perform because it has not been working out for me at all. Some background: I'm an above-average but far from perfect player who does best in DDs for ranked play. Perth and Gallant got me to rank 4 with a roughly 55% win rate but I was feeling the pressure to get with the meta, especially in matches with only 1 dd per side so I switched to my 14pt hatsu captain and the results, to put it mildly were terrible. 7 stars lost over 11 battles and probably my chance to rank out this season too, subpar stats across the board. As far as I can tell I'm doing everything right, but not matter how long I keep enemy dds spotted or contest caps or shield BBs I invariably end up on the losing side and often bottom of the xp table. I don't die to torps, it's always BB volleys that do way more damage than my team seems to be able to put out on the enemy DDs. On one memorable occasion I kept a Farragut spotted for more than a minute and he took no damage. That was an outlier, but it feels like it's always this way. I'm pretty good at working out what I did wrong and improving it, but there must be something I'm missing here. How to make it work?
  4. lel, just problem.... not a serious problem though.... 1. misleading AA rating Iowa vs Missoury AA is only 3 different rating (in the same match) BUT, the difference is like earth and sky. i successfully launch 6of8 torpedo with 2 Iowa sticking together. AGAINTS SINGGLE MISSOURY (GG), only 3of8 what? the problem is : a) how do we now if enemy have Manual AA control? ITS AA RATING SHOULD BE DOUBLED! obviously i wont attack this kind of ship first. b) AFT+20% AA range+flag, how de hall did you know enemy have this? obviously if ship have insane AA, CV captain should be carefull 2. CV require more better CPU? & SERIOUS LAG ON CV weird why playing board game require more PC spec than playing battlship. i can run on HIGH setting and playing without problem. in CV playing with LOW setting and still have LATE loading. this is heavy disadvantage for CV captain because the first 3 min is determine the fate of the battle. also some kind of lag, making my strafe missed. THE PLANE STOPPED for 1 sec before strafing :V 3. NEED instant MAP click CURSOR + more Zoom out mod just annoying to have scrrooooll over to see other map, and also Zoom out mod. the game should have it from the start.... but any mod? 4. invisfiring AA? its just lag or whatever, ship shooting AA should be detected. that is why there is turn off AA button to keep remain undetected. like invisfiring, this one should be removed too! 5. plane detectability its still a mistery to me, also if friendly DD got spotted by enemy plane, DD should report that its getting spotted. it will warn CV to drift out those pesky spotter plane. knowing the detectability of a plane will help CV to create surprise attack :V so we know where to hide and change direction. 6. do plane got healed after return to carrier? or they have the same remaining HP mistery..... 9. I NEED red reticle CV mod, is there any ? i cannt see DD when use DB autol attack.... its green color is well blended with the color of the sea i am not color blind, but the low setting for CV make it harder to difference of the color 10. is that concealment expert usefull for IJN CV? do you think this build is viable for IJN CV? http://shipcomrade.com/captcalc/0001000000010000001100000001100019 11. who is more terrifying for surface ship? Midway or Hakuryu? is that Hakuryu plane significantly stronger compared to Shokaku? if only 3of8 shokaku plane survived againts Missory, how high is survival chance of 12 Hakuryu TB againts Misoury? to be honest i have a grudge againts missouryu. 12. Hakuryu, is that YOLO-able? 5 KM secondary, with AFT become 6 KM. in Ryujo i dont have a problem knife fighting DD, but Hiryu and Shokaku armor are seriously weak......
  5. And if so, do you have any advice for getting the very most out of the ship in ranked battles? I'm currently at rank 7 after about 150 battles with just over 55% wr in the Benson (I've stopped trying to play anything else in ranked as I don't get nearly as good results) and I still feel like there's something I'm not doing quite right in it. Especially the first few minutes of the match, and the initial encounter, I always seem to come out of it with less health than my opponent, even when I've positioned carefully, have tried to organise fire support, and I'm nailing my volleys. Map specific advice would be great too. North, for example, starting as the top team, how best to approach A cap? I never feel confident trying to contest it from the north due to the position of the islands making it harder to manoeuvre back out again than on the south side. Cheers!

So, from me, this is a copy from my original one LINK As you know, OBT for WoWS is coming soon. And now, I’m gonna write some guides for u to read during the wait for OBT. Now, I’m going to write about the branch that I’m good at; Cruisers So cruisers, like their names, they are cruisers and not really up to the battleships except u get a 2 or 3 more company of DDs or CL/CA. Anyways, cruisers are a perfect DD killers. Now, the best way to play in a cruiser is to either escort allied CVs (If you like to see your powerful AA going off(USN), and you might even get to kill a destroyer that’s sneaking in, it really helps your team if the CV isn’t a real noob) or you can go as AA escort for the good BB players, or u can go with allied cruisers and try to communicate what you are going to do. Utilize your fast reloading gun to your advantage against BBs, set her on fire. In my opinion, I primarily use HE, to set them ships on fire(against BB and DD), except when you duel with a relatively good cruiser compare to you, them use AP. When u use AP, try to hit Citadels(under main turrets) when use HE, try to set them on fire and knock turrets out Coordinating your attack is important. Try to talk with your teammates and urge them to talk (hard that one). USN Cruisers got special AA ability so, your AA will be better for a few seconds, use it well. High tier cruisers got repair ability like BBs, so don’t forget to use it. That’s all, I think Safe sailing Conkhead_12 P.S. please correct me if I'm wrong, but this's my style Welp: I forget, IJN cruisers got torps too, but mainly for self defense And don't blue line!
