  1. Captains, Due to a technical error in update 0.8.3, the Radar range of USN premium cruisers Montpelier and Wichita changed to 10 km instead of correct and intended 9 km. This will be fixed in update 0.8.4, as we specifically reworked all Radar ranges for all ships to be systematic, and would like to avoid any inconsistencies. While we've tested Montpelier with the correct range all the way until her release (and Wichita was originally released with the correct range), we value your trust in us above all and want to own up to our mistakes. Thus, all purchases with Montpelier and Wichita in Premium shop made after update 0.8.3 and until 23:59 UTC, May 3, can be fully refunded. The refund will be available until 23:59 UTC, May 31. To claim it, please file a ticket to Customer Support. We apologize for any possible inconvenience and thank you for your patience. Best regards, Your World of Warships Team

Thank you for reporting this. I will forward this to ST team. I edited some text as name shaming is not allowed in this fourm.
  3. Dear players We are aware of your interest in the way that ships announced in the Development Blog will be distributed. Today, we are ready to inform you that the American tier IX battleship Georgia will be available for coal. Also we would like to remind you that the Japanese tier X cruiser Yoshino will be distributed for the same resource. The release dates for these ships will be published later, in the respective news channels on the game website. Good luck and fair seas!

    CV MM on tier X

Captains, Following your feedback on encountering 2 CVs per team on battle tier X (more information can be found here), we’ve worked on a possible solution. As a result, we decided to introduce a 3 minute soft cap for 1 CV per team on battle tier X, complemented by a hard cap for 2 CV. This means: It will no longer be possible to encounter 3 CVs at battle tier X under any circumstances; There will be much fewer games with 2 CVs per team on battle tier X (at the moment these battles constitute ~8% of all tier X battles worldwide); In some cases, when a ship is queued for 3+ minutes, 2 CVs per team will be possible, but we predict it to be a very rare case - unless the number of tier X CVs in the queue spikes. To clarify once again, this applies only to battle tier X (Tier VIII-X ships). On lower battle tiers this change is not critical, and not technically possible at the moment due to higher CV popularity. We know this change is important to you, so we will do our best to update the matchmaker ASAP, and if we can – even with a hotfix. But, as the change is currently undergoing QA, we cannot promise an exact date yet. Please stay tuned and follow the news. Thank you, good luck and fair seas!

    ST, test ships changes

German battleship Viribus Unitis, tier V. The Sigma value is decreased from 1.8 to 1.65; Changed the parameters of the consumable "Repair party": The restoration of the casemate (non-citadel) damage reduced from 50% to 40%; Restoration of hit points, after receiving damage to the citadel, increased from 10% to 33%. The battleship had excessive accuracy for its Main Battery salvoes with hard hitting shells. Changing the parameter will bring the accuracy in line with other battleships of this tier. Viribus Unitis has good armor, allowing it to avoid sustaining large amounts of casemate damage, however, with the small number of hit points, penetrating the citadel (with shell, bomb or torpedo) is fatal for the ship, so changing the proportions of the restored hit points will reduce the severity of the damage received in the citadel. British cruiser Exeter, tier V. Main battery reload increased from 12 to 15 seconds; Removed the consumable "Smoke Generator". Exeter's reload is increased to the value of another heavy cruiser of this tier - Furutaka. "Smoke Generator" is removed, because in the presence "Repair party" and guns with the caliber of 203 mm, this consumable gives an excessive advantage in battle. Japanese cruiser Yahagi, tier V. Main battery reload reduced from 10 to 9 seconds. Soviet destroyer Neustrashimy, tier IX. Changed the parameters of the consumable "Repair party": The restoration of damage increased from 50% to 60%; Duration: 20 sec instead of 28; Healing: 2% instead of 0.5% of maximum hit points per second: Neustrashimy has a large hull and turning circle, and, as a result, when faced with other destroyers and detected, she lost a large amount of hit points. As a result, the destroyer was forced to spend all the it's charges of the "Repair party" and still did not get a full opportunity to return to the battle. Now the "Repair party" is similar to the British cruisers consumable of the high tiers.
  15. Dear players, We’ve noticed your concerns that 1-week free commander skills and upgrade reset that came with 0.8.0 is not enough to properly adapt all your ship builds for the new evolving meta. We agree with you and hereby announce there will be another 1-week period of free reset approximately in 2 months, around 0.8.2 release. Action Stations!
