    I see. Still I think their slow speed would hurt them a lot as long as the DDs play smart and attack from two angles or even better, choose a favourable terrain for the engagement.

    Oh I presumed that their turning rate would be even slower due to the perceived "bulkiness". Usually a heavier mass results in a bigger moment of inertia i.e. slower turn rate. Of coz dimension and shape also plays a factor into that.

    I dunno I seldom fall into that 1km dead zone where I cannot shoot as Amagi while a Kongou/Fusou/Nagato rain shells down on me. If you are having problems with Fusou in particular maybe try not to engage him and pick another target unless you have no choice.

    If 750 is capable of max setting and OP is only using the new card for WoWS then yea might as well save some money. Power consumption is not just about money. It's actually more about energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. I would also suggest that you post some benchmarks before making bold claims like the R9 280 being a better performance card (I presume you are comparing it to 960) which is outright untrue.

    Yea it's enlightening to learn how projectiles interact with physics. You learn something new everyday. I am just pointing out that ballistics does not defy the basic law of physics. The longer range of larger projectile is mostly a result of applying a larger initial velocity to it. Somebody else seems to have the concepts mixed up and thinks that a heavier object should always travel further than a lighter object because "The Mighty Yamato has a longer range than anything else in the universe".

    Actually I am enjoying Amagi a lot after fully upgrading it. The 20km range isn't as bad as it sounds and the 30 knot speed gives you a pretty decent advantage over other BBs. Note that Kongou is 31 knots fully upgraded. I have to agree tho that Amagi sucks when you first unlock it and only have 18km or so range.

    No. As I have explained "A higher initial velocity projectile will have to be heavier than a low initial velocity projectile to achieve the same range". Which means that a heavier projectile cannot outrange a lighter projectile unless it has a larger initial velocity. Which means that you are wrong. You are simply taking bits and pieces from the material and think that you have your point proven.

    You are much mistaken. The force of gravity still applies even when an object is moving horizontally. Please give your physics teacher a call. You need it badly.

    I love how you left out lighter than standard projectiles will travel further at shorter ranges. The statement below that just proved my point - "A higher initial velocity projectile will have to be heavier than a low initial velocity projectile to achieve the same range". Which means that a heavier projectile cannot outrange a lighter projectile unless it has a larger initial velocity. Which means IT IS APPLYING A LARGER FORCE TO THE PROJECTILE.

    Force = Mass x Acceleration Gravity is constant. So the heavier mass has a larger force applied to it downwards when it is travelling through the air. So it will hit the ground faster than a lighter object thus travels less distance.

    As I said, as soon as you changed a parameter the comparison becomes invalid. It doesn't prove that a heavier object should travel longer distance. You example is like saying:- 1. You kick a football with your foot 2. You throw a tennis ball with your hand 3. You make a conclusion that a football should travel further than a tennis ball since that's what you observe from your experiment. See the problem there?
