    A "Bonus" Question

Ah, I understand now. What you're saying is that there are TWO types of premium time. So assuming I have (a) a Premium Ship with +X%, and (b) WoWs Premium Time (not WG Premium Time), then my total XP bonus = (65+X)%, correct? My follow-on question is what is X? (In other words, what is the XP bonus for Premium Ships?) Thank you. Afujintaro.

    A "Bonus" Question

Thanks, Tamal & Paladinum. So XP-wise, it will be +65% for Premium Warship plus +50% for Premium Time = +115% total, correct?

    A "Bonus" Question

I know that a Premium ship gives an XP bonus (& a credit bonus). I know that a Premium account (i.e. Premium time) gives an XP bonus (& a credit bonus). My question is: What happens if I play a Premium ship while on Premium time? Do I get both sets of bonuses or is it still only really just one "Premium" bonus? I can't test it as I don't have any Premium time now. Pretty straight-forward question I hope. Thanks so much. 😀 Afujintaro

What is the Actual Loss in Re-Training?

Seems like they really need to fix the text. Very misleading as it is written now...

What is the Actual Loss in Re-Training?

What about the part saying that "assigning captains from other ships without penalty or retraining"? Is that really true? Can you indeed assign a captain trained for another ship without any penalty or retraining?

What is the Actual Loss in Re-Training?

I thought you get the same amount of free XP regardless of elite or non-elite?

Seeing Battles Fought in Each Ship?

You answering the wrong qn, I believe. LoL.

What is the Actual Loss in Re-Training?

Thanks, Shira Yukira. I read that. My qn is whether the Captain gets any *bonus* XP, like in WOT. It sounds like the Captain gets the exact same amount of XP regardless of whether the ship is Elite or not. Once Elite, the extra ship XP just accumulates, but has no use, unless you decide to spend Doubloons. Could you confirm that this is the current mechanic?

What is the Actual Loss in Re-Training?

Sorry, a related qn: So after a ship becomes elite, does the captain gain any extra XP (like in WoT)?

Seeing Battles Fought in Each Ship?

Thanks, Mingfang & Antifoul Awl. I am assuming there is no way to see it in-game, correct?
  11. Sorry, a noob qn: Is there any way to see how many battles had been fought in each individual ship? WOT has this, so I've been searching for it in WoWS... Afujintaro

What is the Actual Loss in Re-Training?

We're gamers. Min-max-ing is part of the fun!

What is the Actual Loss in Re-Training?

Thanks, Amade. Super clear now. It now seems fairly deterministically calculable whether to retrain or get a new captain (assuming bunk space is not a constraint...)

What is the Actual Loss in Re-Training?

Thanks, Amade. This is very much clearer. If you don't mind, I have two follow-on questions: Q1: I am assuming that while retraining, that's where the 50% skill effectiveness is in effect. Also, unlike WOT, while retraining, he still gains 100% of any XP earned (no penalty), is that correct? Q2: I am assuming that unlike WOT, once the captain is assigned to another ship, he *MUST* retrain (re-specialize). He cannot choose *not* to retrain and just keep getting normal XP (i.e. non-retraining XP), so he can be used to captain a few ships?

What is the Actual Loss in Re-Training?

So let's say the captain is now at Level 8 and needs 16,000 XP to go to Level 9 (according to the Wiki). He has already earned 2000 XP (out of the 16,000 needed). He retrains. If retrain for free, then he loses (a) 1000 XP or (b) 8000 XP (knocking him down to Level 5). If retrain with credits, then he loses (a) 500 XP or (b) 4000 XP (knocking him down to Level 6). Is scenario (b) correct?
